Kevin Durant has been mum on the issue, so NBA fans are left reading the tea leaves from Nike.
The company is selling a T-shirt on its website that lists all the cities Durant has played in during his career, dating back to high school. The last two cities on the list are Oakland and San Francisco.
The Warriors are playing their final season in Oakland this year and are set to move into a new arena in San Francisco next year.
Of course, many expect the pending free agent to never get to San Francisco with the Warriors, instead taking his talents to the Knicks or one of the other NBA teams that will be pursuing him this offseason.
The inclusion of San Francisco on the T-shirt led to some speculation that Nike could be foreshadowing Durant re-signing with the Warriors come July 1.
“The season is still ongoing. We are not finished. I have no new ideas or data for you,” Warriors owner Joe Lacob told The Athletic earlier this postseason.
“We love Klay [Thompson] and KD and intend to attempt to re-sign them. Period. I am confident about BOTH of them. But it is their choice to do what is best for them. They have earned that right.
“Our goal is to keep our team together. We are pretty good.”
In the meantime, Durant is trying to get back on the court to help the Warriors win a championship. He suffered a strained calf in the Western Conference Finals, and with the NBA Finals tied 1-1 headed back to Oakland.
