The Cleveland Cavaliers will be looking to get revenge on the Boston Celtics after losing their game to them on Tuesday night on the road in Boston. Cleveland is off to a roller coaster of a start to the regular season as they have been unable to maintain any type of momentum throughout the early part of the year. They will look to grab a huge momentum boosting victory in this game on Thursday night on the road against Boston, as they look to get right back into the column heading into the back half of December. Cleveland comes into this game with 13 victories through their first 24 games of the season and they will look to grab their 14th win of the year in their second consecutive game against the Boston Celtics. Cleveland will also look to snap at two game losing streak in this game against the Boston Celtics as well.

The Boston Celtics coming into this game looking for their second consecutive victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers here on Thursday night. They picked up a solid victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night, and they will look to replicate that performance here on Thursday as well. Boston has been one of the best teams in the league throughout the early part of the regular season as they have firmly established themselves as a legitimate contender this season. Boston comes into this game with 17th victory through their first 22 games of the regular season and they will look for their 18th win of the year here on Thursday night at home. They are undefeated at home throughout their first 11 opportunities this season and I expect them to pick up yet. Another victory at home against the Cleveland Cavaliers here on Thursday night. 

Chicago Bulls @ Miami Heat – 7:30PM ET

The Chicago Bulls are having a rough start to the regular season as they have been one of the worst teams in the league throughout the early part of the year. They will look to get back on track in this game on Thursday night on the road in South Beach against the Miami Heat. Chicago is already talking about trading both DeMar DeRozan and Zach LaVine at some point before the trade deadline as they look to move on and begin a rebuilding process if things don’t improve rather quickly. Chicago comes into this game with 16 losses through their first 25 games of the regular season and they will look to break through the double digit win mark with a quality performance here on Thursday night on the road in Miami. They will be looking to bounce back from back-to-back losses to Denver in Milwaukee and their previous two games and grab a win here on Thursday night in South Beach.

The Miami Heat come into this game looking to pick up a quality victory at home over the Chicago Bulls as they look to continue their solid start to the regular season. The Miami Heat come into this game with 14 victories through their first 24 games of the regular season and they will look for their 15th victory of the year here on Thursday night at home against the Chicago Bulls. Miami has a little bit of momentum coming into this game after picking up a victory over the Charlotte Hornets and their previous game and they will look for a second consecutive win here in this one against the Chicago Bulls at home. That is exactly what I expect out of the Miami Heat here in this one as I look for them to pick up a comfortable victory on Thursday night at home over Chicago. 

Brooklyn Nets @ Denver Nuggets – 9PM ET

It has been a decent start to the regular season for the Brooklyn Nets, and they will look to keep the momentum rolling here on Thursday night on the road against the defending NBA champions. Brooklyn comes into this game hovering around the .500 mark and they will look for a huge momentum boosting victory against the Denver Nuggets on the road. Brooklyn comes into this game with 13 victories through their first 23 games of the regular season and they will look for their 14th victory of the year here on Thursday night as they look to get the momentum rolling in the right direction throughout the rest of December. They will look to bounce back from their loss to the Sacramento Kings and their previous game as they look to pick up a win on this road trip in Denver here on Thursday night.

The defending NBA champions are off to a fantastic start this season as they are not experiencing any type of championship hangover throughout the early part of the year. They will look at another victory to their record here on Thursday night at home as they host the Brooklyn Nets, and they look to further establish themselves as the favorites to win a second consecutive NBA championship this season. Denver has one of the best records in the league throughout the early part of the season and they will look to maintain that with their 17th victory here on Thursday night at home against the Brooklyn Nets. They’ve picked up back-to-back victories against the Atlanta Hawks and the Chicago Bulls and I look for them to pick up their third consecutive victory of the season against the Brooklyn Nets here on Thursday night.

Utah Jazz @ Portland Trail Blazers – 10PM ET

Utah comes into this game looking to go on the road to the Pacific Northwest and pick up a victory against the Portland Trail Blazers. They are off to a rough start to the regular season, and they will look to build some success with a victory here in this game on Thursday night on the road against Portland. They come into this game with 16 losses through their first 24 games of the regular season and they will look to get things going in the right direction with a victory here on Thursday night in Portland. They come into this game after losing three in a row and four out of their last five, and they are in desperate need of a victory to break out of their current slump and get things going in the right direction throughout the rest of December. They had plenty of expectations coming into the season, but they have not lived up to those expectations throughout the early part of the year and they will need to get things turned around rather quickly if they want to remain competitive heading into the new year.

Portland is still struggling throughout the early part of the post Damian Lillard I have as they have been unable to replace Lillard with a bonafide superstar. Although they’ve had some solid players step up and put up quality numbers for them throughout the early part of the year, they have been unable to recapture the magic of Lillard and his ability to close out games in clutch moments. That is something that has hurt them the most throughout the early part of the regular season as they have blown several large leads over the first month and a half half of the year. They will be looking to get things going in the right direction with a victory over the Utah Jazz at home here on Thursday night as they look to finish out the month of December with as much momentum as possible. Portland comes into this game with 16 losses through their first 22 games of the season and I don’t see things getting better for them here in this one. As I look for them to lose to the Utah Jazz at home here on Thursday night.

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Sacramento Kings – 10PM ET

Oklahoma City is off to a quality start to the regular season and they will look to maintain that momentum throughout this game on Thursday night in Sacramento. Very solid mix of young players and decent veterans that has helped lead them to a quality record throughout the early part of the year. They will look for a victory against Sacramento here in this one, as they look to further establish themselves as a contending team in the Western Conference this year. Oklahoma City comes into this game with 15 victories through their first 22 games of the regular season and they will look for their 16th win of the year on the road in Sacramento on Thursday. They come to this game with plenty of momentum after back-to-back wins against Utah and Golden State, and they have won four out of their last five as well. They will look for their third consecutive victory here on Thursday night on the road against the Sacramento Kings.

The Sacramento Kings are having a solid start to the regular season and they will look to keep the momentum rolling throughout this game. Sacramento comes into this game with 13 victories through their first 22 games of the regular season and they will look for their 14th win of the year here on Thursday night at home against the Oklahoma City Thunder. After breaking a two decade, long playoff drought last season, they will look to make their second consecutive playoff appearance this season. As long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the year they will have a very solid shot at accomplishing that goal. They’ve been a very tough team to beat at home throughout the early part of the regular season and I look for them to maintain that narrative with another quality performance here at home on Thursday night against Oklahoma City. As I look for them to pick up the victory in this game and pick up their 14th win of the season in the process.
