The New Orleans Pelicans are one of those teams that has the potential to be one of the best teams in the league if they could remain healthy and consistent throughout the year. That is something they’ve struggled with throughout the early part of the regular season as several kids superstars have missed time for this New Orleans team. They will look to get things back on track with a road victory against a struggling Washington team here on Wednesday night on the road in the nation’s capital. New Orleans comes into this game hovering slightly above .500 through their first 24 games of the regular season. as they come into this game with 13 victories through their first 24 games of the year and they will look for their 14th one of the season here in this one on Wednesday night and Washington. This feels like one of those early season games you can’t afford to lose because of how bad the Wizards have been playing over the last month.

Washington is having an absolutely awful year and they have been one of the worst teams in the league despite the dynamic duo of Kyle Kuzma and Jordan Poole. So far that pairing has not worked out for the best as Washington currently finds themselves on a massive losing street coming into this game on Wednesday night at home against New Orleans. They will look to finally break through and grab a much-needed victory here on Wednesday night at home as they look to get things back on track heading into the back half of December. Washington comes into this game with 19 losses, their first 22 games of the regular season and I don’t see it getting much better for them here in this one on Wednesday night at home. As I look for the New Orleans Pelicans to come into their building and pick up a victory here in this one as well as cover the spread in the process.

Charlotte Hornets @ Miami Heat – 7:30PM ET

The Charlotte Hornets are having a rough start to the season and they will look to get things going in the right direction with a victory on the road in Miami here on Wednesday night. Their superstar players have not lived up to that building throughout the early part of the regular season which has hampered their performance heading into the middle of December. They will be desperate to get things back on track before turning the calendar to 2024. A victory in this game on the road in Miami would go a long way in helping them build up some momentum throughout the back half of December. Charlotte comes into this game with 14 losses through their first 21 games of the regular season and they will look for their eighth victory of the season here on Wednesday night in South Beach. 

It has been a solid start to the regular season for the Miami Heat as they have been a legitimate contender over the last several years. They will look too further establish themselves as a legitimate contender for the NBA championship this season as they look to continue this hot start of the year with another victory here in this one at home. Miami comes into this game three games above .500 through their first 23 games of the regular season and they will look for their 14th victory of the year here on Wednesday night at home against a struggling Charlotte team. They will be a little shorthanded as they have struggled as of late without two of their three star players as only Jimmy Butler will be available for this game. Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo we both miss another game dealing with several injuries, and Miami will have to overcome that here in this one. That is exactly what I expect as I look for them to pick up the wind and cover the spread in the process, even without two of their three superstars.

Memphis Grizzlies @ Houston Rockets – 8PM ET

It has been an absolutely dreadful start to the season for Memphis, as they desperately miss Ja Morant throughout the early part of the year. They come into this game as one of the worst teams in the league and they will go on the road to a very tough environment and look to pull out a victory against the Houston Rockets. That is certainly no easy task, and they will need several key players to step up and help them if they want to pick up a much-needed victory here in this one on Wednesday night. Memphis comes into this game with 16 losses through their first 22 games of the regular season and they will desperately search for their seventh victory of the season here on Wednesday night on the road against the Houston Rockets. This feels like a must win game for Memphis if they want to get their season back on track throughout the end of December as they look to build up as much momentum as possible heading into the new year. 

After spending a couple of seasons as one of the youngest and worst teams in the league, they have found a solid formula and they are off a quality start this season. The Houston Rockets come into this game hovering two games above the 500 mark through their first 20 games of the season as they have picked up 11 victories in that span. They will be looking for their 12th victory of the season here on Wednesday night at home against the Memphis Grizzlies as they look to keep the momentum rolling throughout the middle of December. This feels like one of those games you cannot afford to drop early on in the year for the Houston Rockets as they look to pick up a win at home against a struggling Memphis Grizzlies team. Houston comes into this game with plenty of momentum as they have picked up three consecutive victories, and they will be looking for a fourth consecutive win here in this one. That is exactly what I expect as I look for them to pick up the win and cover the spread in this game on Wednesday night.

Brooklyn Nets @ Phoenix Suns – 9PM ET

It has been an up-and-down start to the regular season for the Brooklyn Nets, and they will look for a massive momentum boost on the road against the Phoenix Suns in the desert on Wednesday night. At one point last year, Brooklyn had a massive super team, and they look to be the odds on favored to win the NBA championship, but things fell apart for them rather quickly. Then I’ll come into this game sitting towards the bottom half of the eastern conference throughout the early part of the year and they will be in desperate need of a very much needed victory here in this one if they want to get the momentum rolling in the right direction into the rest of December. Brooklyn comes into this game two games above 500 through their first 22 games of the regular season and they will look for their 13th victory of the year here in Phoenix on Wednesday night.

Phoenix comes into this game looking to grab a solid victory here on Wednesday night at home against Brooklyn. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Phoenix Suns, and they will look to wrap it up on a positive note with a quality performance here in this one. Phoenix comes into this game having picked up a victory in the first game of their back to back and they have won thirteen out of their first 23 games on the regular season. Now they will be looking for their second consecutive victory in as many nights as they look for a quality performance at home against a Brooklyn Nets team that has been experiencing an up-and-down start of the year. They should be fully healthy and ready to go for this one which is dangerous for Brooklyn and that is exactly what I expect as I look for Phoenix to grab a comfortable win here in this one.

New York Knicks @ Utah Jazz – 9PM ET

It has been a respectable start to the season of the New York Knicks, and they looked to keep the momentum rolling here on Wednesday night all the road in Utah. A victory in this game for New York would be a huge momentum boost for the New York Knicks throughout the early part of the regular season as I looked to go on the road to Salt Lake City and pick up the win over the Utah Jazz. New York comes into this game with 13 victories to their first 22 games of the regular season and they look for their 14th one of the year here on Wednesday night. This would be a huge momentum boost for the New York Knicks as they look for a victory over one of the better teams in the Western Conference although Utah is off to a rough start this season. The Knicks come into this game with a little bit of momentum after beating Toronto in their previous game.

After coming into the season with some expectations, Utah is off to a rough start to the regular season and they look to get things going in the right direction with a victory here on Wednesday night at home against the New York Knicks. Injuries have been a massive problem for Utah throughout the early part of the regular season. It has hampered their performance throughout the early part of the year as well, and they will overcome those injuries and grab a much-needed victory in this game on Wednesday night at home against the New York Knicks. They come into this game with 16 losses through their first 23 games of the regular season and they will look for their seventh victory of the year here and this one on Wednesday night. However, I don’t see that happening as I look for the New York Knicks to go on the road and pick up the victory in Salt Lake City on Wednesday night.
