They are the favorites in my opinion and have been since the start of the tournament, so it will be interesting to see if this aging squad has one more game in them. 

The French are looking to become the first back-to-back to World Cup champions in several decades when they take the field for this Final against Argentina. There is a very real chance that they will win their second straight World Cup in this game and with the way they have been spreading the ball around, it may not even take an Mbappe goal to get the job done. However, this is by far going to be the most competitive game of the tournament and I’m thinking Mbappe bags one in this game.

Physical and tough to play against, outstanding defensively and stable as well as highly organized in possession, this Argentinian squad is more than deservedly in the Final of the World Cup. Led by, according to many, the greatest player of all time, Lionel Messi, Argentina is the favorite to win it all. Manchester City’s young superstar, Julian Alvarez, has had an outstanding World Cup, and his partnership with Messi has worked superbly. Can Lionel Messi win his first World Cup and cement his legacy as the greatest player of all time?

France is a team who knows how to win. This group of players has been playing together for a while now. As the reigning World Cup champions, the French are battle-tested and proven. France got outplayed by both England and Morocco, but they found themselves playing in the Final once again. Kylian Mbappe is only 23 years old, and he has the opportunity to win his second World Cup. That will have a massive impact on his legacy, and we might be witnessing history and the creation of the career of the greatest player ever. Argentina against France will be a slow, tactical match that will get decided by a moment of brilliance. The 2.5 goals under bet seem logical.

After 29 days and 62 games, everything is set for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final. The defending champions France will have a chance to become only the third team in history to win back-to-back titles. They won the remaining two games in the Group Stage and then went on to eliminate Australia and Netherlands. In the Semi Finals, they showcased their full strength against Croatia to get a chance to win their first World Cup title since the Diego Maradona days. Lionel Messi is the player who is expected to shine on Sunday. He has lost one World Cup Final and stronger for that experience will know what needs to be done to win this time. The real question is, can Argentina really do it? France seems like a more versatile and stable team that does not depend a lot on a single player which is the case with Argentina. France has a top level player in Kylian Mbappe who can also decide any game with a single move. This will definitely be a tough game but France will have that extra quality to win in the end.
