Las Vegas Raiders @ Buffalo Bills – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Las Vegas Raiders will be looking to pick up their second victory of the season after opening up the year on the road with a victory against the Denver Broncos. They will stay on the road and this time they will travel across the country to play the Buffalo Bills to kick off week number two of the 2023-24 National Football League season. Vegas showed that they were still able to get the job done even without Derek Carr at the quarterback position, as Jimmy Garoppolo played a quality game last weekend to lead Vegas to a season opening victory. They will be looking to replicate that performance here in week number two of the season against the Buffalo Bills.

Speaking of the Buffalo Bills, they will be looking to bounce back after their season opening loss on Monday night to the New York Jets. Several times throughout the game on Monday night Buffalo had the thing won, but Josh Allen continued to turn the football over. It resulted in a New York Jets punt return for a touchdown in overtime to close out the game and now Buffalo will be looking to bounce back and pick up their first victory of the season here against Las Vegas at home. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Josh Allen to clean up the mistakes and the Buffalo Bills to get themselves a much-needed victory in their home opener to pick up their first win of the year.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Buffalo Bills -7.5 (-115)

Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Baltimore Ravens opened up the season with a victory over the Houston Texans, and now they will be looking to pick up their second consecutive victory of the season when they travel to Cincinnati to face off with the Bengals. Although Baltimore manage to pick up the victory, it doesn’t mean that they look flawless as they played a pretty sloppy game and they will need to clean up several mistakes if they want to pick up a second consecutive victory to open up the season. They will also be dealing with injuries as they lost running back JK Dobbins for the season and they will also likely be without all-pro offensive lineman, Ronnie Stanley for this week, and potentially even further into the season as well.

The Cincinnati Bengals had a lot of hype coming into the season and quarterback, Joe Burrow had recently gotten his big money contract, which only further that hype. However, Cincinnati and Joe Burrow looked absolutely lost during the week one game against the Cleveland Browns on the road in Cleveland. As they only managed to put three points up on the board, and despite their defense looking firm for a majority of the game, eventually exhaustion took over which led to Cleveland blowing out Cincinnati to open up the season. However, I expect the Cincinnati Bengals to bounce back here in a week, number two of the season and pick up their first victory of the year.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Cincinnati Bengals -3.5 (-110)

Kansas City Chiefs @ Jacksonville Jaguars – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Kansas City Chiefs had several mistakes late in their game last Thursday night to open up the season against the Detroit Lions. Now Kansas City will hit the road to Jacksonville. Looking to pick up their first victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon. It certainly won’t be easy as they will be stepping into one of the hardest places to play in the NFL and they will have to play much better than they did last week if they want to leave Jacksonville with a victory. They will be looking to avoid the championship hangover as they now have a pass rusher Chris Jones back in the lineup, and they will likely get Travis Kelce back as well for this one. They will be hoping that those two players make enough of an impact to lead Kansas City to what feels like a much-needed victory here in week two.

The Jacksonville Jaguars coming to the second game of the season looking to pick up their second consecutive victory of the season as well. It was a solid showing for Jacksonville in their week one victory over the Indianapolis Colts as their offense led by Trevor Lawrence, Calvin Ridley, and Travis Etienne put on a spectacular show against the Indianapolis Colts defense. They will be hoping they can replicate that performance against the Kansas City Chiefs here and week number two of the season at home as they look to grab a victory from the defending Super Bowl champions here on Sunday afternoon. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Jacksonville to upset Kansas City here on Sunday to pick up their second victory of the season.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Jacksonville Jaguars (+150)

Green Bay Packers @ Atlanta Falcons – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Green Bay Packers opened up their season with a victory over the Chicago Bears as the Jordan Love era began in Green Bay. Now, Green Bay will be looking to pick up their second consecutive victory of the season when they hit the road to Atlanta to play the Atlanta Falcons. This is a very winnable game for Green Bay. As long as they play like they did last Sunday they could potentially get their season off to a successful start with two consecutive victories after coming into the season with plenty of doubters thinking they will finish as one of the worst teams in the league. However, they could potentially be without Aaron Jones, or he could be in a limited role, so AJ Dillon will have to step up in a big way against the Falcons defense.

The Atlanta Falcons looked solid on offense in their opening game of the season, as they showcased plenty of weapons that will help them throughout the year. As running backs, Tyler Allgeier and Bijan Robinson, both put up stellar games, and they will have something to build off of throughout the season. Even the Atlanta Falcons defense looks solid in the opening game of the season as they held the Carolina Panthers to 10 points and now they will be looking to pick up their second victory of the year at home against the Green Bay Packers. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Atlanta Falcons to shock the football world and grab their second victory of the season to start the year undefeated after the first two weeks.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Atlanta Falcons (-130)

San Francisco 49ers @ Los Angeles Rams – 4:05PM ET

Tony Battalio

The San Francisco 49ers opened up their season with a victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road and now they will return to the West Coast to play their second consecutive road game against the Los Angeles Rams. Quarterback Brock Purdy looked fantastic in his first game back since injuring his elbow in last year’s NFC championship game as it looked like he didn’t even miss a single step. They will be looking to replicate their performance here on Sunday afternoon against the Los Angeles Rams, as they look to pick up their second consecutive victory of the season, as well as a huge divisional matchup victory. As the 49ers look to further establish themselves as the best team in the NFC West division this season.

The Los Angeles Rams come into this game looking to pick up a victory over the San Francisco 49ers in week number two of the season. Los Angeles started their season with a victory over Seattle last weekend, and they will be looking to replicate that performance here against another NFC West divisional opponent at home as they look to pick up a second consecutive victory to open up the year. They will face much tougher competition this time around as they will have to find a way to stop a star studded offense and score on a pretty solid defense as well. Unfortunately for the Los Angeles Rams, I don’t see that happening as I look for the San Francisco 49ers to pick up the victory here on Sunday afternoon.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

SF 49ers -7.5 (-105)
