Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Indianapolis Colts are having a surprisingly solid start to this season, and they will be looking to grab a crucial AFC South victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars here on Sunday afternoon on the road in Jacksonville. Unfortunately for Indianapolis, this is the second time this season that they’re rookie quarterback Anthony Richardson has been severely injured and it seems very likely that he will miss out on the game. Which means veteran backup Gardner Minshew will be taking the reins for the Indianapolis Colts here in this one he is a former Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback, and he is likely taking this game pretty personal so he will be looking to deliver a quality performance, and lead Indianapolis to a much-needed victory.

After struggling for the last couple of weeks, it seems as if the Jacksonville Jaguars have finally gotten things together once again, and they will be looking to pick up a quality victory here on Sunday afternoon at home after returning from London with two consecutive victories. Jacksonville has put together a solid team and they are competing for an AFC South division title, as well as AFC championship and potentially even a Super Bowl this season as well. I expect them to have another quality performance here and this one in their first game back in the USA in the last three weeks and pick up a comfortable victory over the Indianapolis Colts here on Sunday afternoon at home.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Jacksonville Jaguars -3.5 (-110)

Carolina Panthers @ Miami Dolphins – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been an absolutely dreadful start to the season for the Carolina Panthers, and this year’s number one overall draft pick, Bryce Young has not looked like the answer that they were searching for at the quarterback position. He has looked out of sorts throughout the first five weeks of the season, which is normal for a rookie, but you still expect a number one overall pick to perform a lot better than he has. He has also missed some time due to injury as well, which has not helped his case. Carolina will be looking to get things in order and pick up their first victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon on the road against the Miami Dolphins in Miami, which is one of the toughest places to play in the entire league.

The Miami Dolphins have looked solid throughout the first six weeks of the season, and they will be looking to grab another huge victory after blowing out the New York Giants last weekend. Miami looks to be the most lethal team in the entire league at the moment as their offense just seems to be completely unstoppable throughout the first five weeks of the year. That is a trend that is likely to continue as they will be facing off against one of the worst defenses in the entire league, and their defense should also turn into some points for the offense, as they are facing off against one of the worst offenses in the league as well. To make a long story short, I expect the Miami Dolphins to grab a comfortable victory in this game on Sunday afternoon at home and cover the spread in the process.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Miami Dolphins -14.5 (-110)

San Francisco 49ers @ Cleveland Browns – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

The San Francisco 49ers have looked absolutely unstoppable throughout the first five weeks of this season. They have an unlimited amount of weapons on the offensive side of the football, and they utilize them all to perfection. That is something they will be looking to do as they face one of the toughest defenses they will see all season in the form of the Cleveland Browns here on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland. Running back Christian McCaffrey is coming off of a legendary game two weeks ago and tight end George Kittle is coming off of a three touchdown game against the Dallas Cowboys last weekend. They will be looking to parlay that momentum into a sixth consecutive victory to open up the season here on Sunday afternoon in Cleveland.

The Cleveland Browns are seemingly at a crossroads right now because it looks like their superstar quarterback that they paid $230 million to is going to miss his second consecutive game. It was clear that the Cleveland Browns had no business being on the field with the Baltimore Ravens last week when Deshaun Watson was on the sideline and rookie Dorian Thompson Robinson got his first career start. The Baltimore Ravens absolutely obliterated the Cleveland Browns in Cleveland and now the Browns are coming off of a bye week and they face a much tougher task against the 49ers. In the end, I don’t look for it to go too well for Cleveland. Once again, as I have San Francisco grabbing a comfortable victory in this game.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

SF 49ers -9.5 (-110)

Detroit Lions @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 4:25PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Detroit Lions are off to a fantastic start this season, and they are coming off of a blowout victory over the Carolina Panthers. Now they will be facing off against their second consecutive NFC South team this weekend when they head to Tampa Bay to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Detroit will be looking to keep the momentum rolling in this one, as they will likely be without rookie, first round pick Jahmir Gibbs. Regardless of not having Gibbs, David Montgomery has been absolutely fantastic throughout the first five weeks of the season and that is something they will look to keep going here in this one as well.

Baker Mayfield has the Tampa Bay Buccaneers off to a solid start this season, but this will be their second true test of the season when they play the Detroit Lions here on Sunday afternoon at home. There is a realistic argument that Tampa Bay has not played a tough schedule up until this point minus their game against the defending NFC champions, the Philadelphia Eagles in which they were absolutely clobbered. So Baker Mayfield and Tampa Bay will be out here on Sunday afternoon against the Detroit Lions as they look to pick up yet another victory in this young season. Unfortunately for Tampa Bay I don’t see that happening as I have Detroit grabbing the win in this game.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Detroit Lions (-165)

New York Giants @ Buffalo Bills – 8:20PM ET

Tony Battalio

The New York Giants are having a rough season and a week after being blown out by the Miami Dolphins they will face off against the Buffalo Bills. This will be their second consecutive game against the AFC East division, and they will be looking to pick up a much-needed victory here in week number six of the NFL season. Quarterback Daniel Jones has not looked too great, and Saquon Barkley has been dealing with an ankle injury that has sidelined him over the last several weeks. It was another late setback for Saquon Barkley heading into Sunday’s game, and Matt Brieda ended up getting the start for the New York Giants and as we all saw that did not go too well they lost the game by sizable margin. At this point in the year as the losses continue to rack up for the New York Giants, this game seems like a must win game for the franchise.

The Buffalo Bills will be looking to pick up another victory in this game and bounce back from their loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road in London last weekend. Buffalo will be back in the United States for this one at home and they will be looking to pick up where they left off before they went overseas to play Jacksonville and grab another victory on home soil here on Sunday night against the New York Giants. Quarterback Josh Allen and wide receiver Stefon Diggs continue to be one of the most dominant duos in the entire league and that is something I expect to continue here on Sunday night. As I look for the Buffalo Bills to grab a comfortable victory in this game over the New York Giants

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Buffalo Bills -14.5 (-115)
