Ohio State vs. Michigan

No. 4 ranked Michigan takes on No. 9 ranked Ohio State in the Big Ten tournament semifinals. Michigan is 20-3 overall and finished with the top record in the conference at 14-3.

The Wolverines defeated Maryland in their first conference of the tournament, 79-66. Four players scored in double digits, led by Mike Smith who recorded a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds. 


Michigan is 20th in the nation in field goal percentage at 48.8% and 12th in three-point shooting at 38.6%. Hunter Dickinson leads the team in scoring and rebounding at 14.3 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. Franz Wagner is second in rebounds (6.3) and third in points (12.9).

Ohio State is 20-8 and they went 12-8 in the regular season in the Big Ten. The Buckeyes had entered the conference tournament on a four-game losing streak, but have won both of their tournament matchups, beating Minnesota on Thursday, 79-75, and Purdue on Friday, 87-78.

The Buckeyes are 68th in field goal percentage (46.2%) and 67th in three-point shooting (36.1%). E.J. Liddell leads the team in scoring (16.0) and rebounding (6.5). Michigan won the last meeting between these teams, 92-87.

LSU vs. Arkansas

No. 8 ranked Arkansas takes on LSU in the semi-finals of the SEC tournament. Arkansas is 22-5, 13-4 in the SEC. The Razorbacks defeated Missouri on Friday, 70-64. JD Notae led Arkansas with 27 points and Justin Smith added 16 points and eight rebounds. The Razorbacks shot 45.5% from the field.

Arkansas is averaging 45.6% from the field, 94th in the country, and 34.4% from three-point range. They are 18th in rebounding at 40.0 per game. Moses Moody leads the team in scoring at 17.5 ppg and is second in rebounding at 5.7 per contest. Smith is third in scoring (12.5) and leads the team in rebounding (6.8).


LSU is 17-8, 11-6 in the SEC. They defeated Mississippi on Friday, 76-73. The Tigers shot 44.6% from the field. Four players scored in double digits, led by Trendon Watford with 24. Darius Days recorded a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Iowa vs. Illinois

No. 6 ranked Iowa takes on No. 3 Illinois in the semi-finals of the Big Ten tournament. Iowa is 21-7, 14-6 in the Big Ten. Iowa defeated Wisconsin on Friday in their opening matchup of the conference tournament, 62-57.

Luka Garza finished with 24 points and nine rebounds and Jordan Bohanna added 11 points as the Hawkeyes earned the victory despite going two of 20 from three-point range.


Iowa is shooting 47.4% from the field, 40th in the nation, and 39.6% from three-point range, fourth overall. They are ninth in total rebounds at 40.4 per game. Garza is the leading scorer at 23.8 points per game. He also leads the team in rebounds at a .7 per contest. 

Illinois is 21-6, 16-4 in the Big Ten. They crushed Rutgers on Friday, 90-68. Ayo Dosunmu scored 23 points and Kofi Cockburn recorded a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. The Fighting Illini shot 52.5% from the field and hit 21 of 31 free throws.

Illinois is seventh in the country in field-goal percentage at 50.0% and 21st in three-point shooting at 38.2%. They are 14th in rebounds at 14.2 per game. Dosunmu and Cockburn may be the best duo in the country. Dosunmu is averaging 20.9 ppg and 6.2 rpg. Cockburn is averaging 17.3 points and 9.6 rebounds per game.

No. 7 ranked Houston takes on Memphis in the semi-finals of the American Athletic Conference. Houston is 22-3, 14-3 in the AAC. They defeated Tulane on Friday, 77-52. DeJon Jarreau recorded the first triple-double of his career, scoring 15 points and adding 10 rebounds and 10 assists. The Cougars shot 46.6% from the field, including 12 of 31 from three-point range (38.7%).

Houston is averaging 43.8% from the field and 35.6% from beyond the arc, 89th overall. They are fifth in rebounds per game at 41.3. Quentin Grimes is the leading scorer at 17.9 ppg and is second in rebounding at 6.2 per contest. Jarreau is averaging 10.9 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.


Memphis is 16-7, 11-4 in the AAC. They defeated UCF on Friday, 70-62. The Tigers only shot 39.3% from the field, but hit 16 of 21 free throws. Lester Quinones had a monster evening on the glass, grabbing 15 rebounds. D.J. Jeffries had 17 points to lead the team.

No. 12 ranked Oklahoma State takes on No. 13 ranked Texas in the semi-finals of the Big 12 tournament. Oklahoma State is 19-7, 11-7 in the Big 12. The Cowboys pulled off the upset of the conference tournaments, defeating No. 2 ranked Baylor on Friday, 83-74.

Cade Cunningham scored 25 points and added eight rebounds and five assists. Avery Anderson added 20 points. The Cowboys shot 47.5% from the field and hit 21 of 26 free-throws (80.8%).


Oklahoma State is shooting 46.5% from the field, 55th in the country, and 33.7% from three-point range. They have been great on the glass, averaging 38.9 rebounds per game, 32nd. Cunningham is averaging 19.7 ppg and 6.3 rebounds per contest. Avery Anderson is the only player averaging in double digits at 11.1 per game.

Texas is 18-7, 11-6 in the Big 12. The Longhorns defeated Texas Tech in their first round matchup but their contest against Kansas on Friday was cancelled by the Jayhawks, allowing them to advance.
