The No. 25 Texas A&M Aggies (20-7, 12-2 SEC) will try to break down one of the nation’s top scoring defenses when they play host to the No. 11 Tennessee Volunteers (20-7, 9-5 SEC) on Tuesday.
Tennessee dropped their last game against the Kentucky Wildcats 66-54 at Rupp Arena at Central Bank Center on Saturday, their third straight loss away from home.
With 17 points, Santiago Vescovi was the leading scorer in the losing effort. Jahmai Mashack chipped in with 16 points and eight rebounds. The Volunteers remain fourth in the Southeastern Conference.
Texas A&M won their fifth in a row on Saturday at Mizzou Arena, beating the Missouri Tigers 69-60. Wade Taylor IV had 21 points and six assists to lead the team.
The Aggies are second in the Southeastern Conference. This marks the only meeting of the season between the teams. They last met in the Southeastern Conference Tourney Championship when the Volunteers clinched the title with a 65-50 victory at Amalie Arena in March 2022, their third straight head-to-head win.

Meanwhile, Jonas Aidoo is grabbing 5.0 rebounds per game.Taylor IV (15.6 ppg) and Radford (13.4) have powered the Aggies’ offense. Taylor IV also has recorded 4.2 assists per game. Henry Coleman III has collected 5.9 rebounds per game.
