This will be their toughest test of the regular season so far as they take on a nationally ranked North Carolina team on the road at Chapel Hill. They will need to play a near perfect game of basketball if they want to get the job done here on Sunday afternoon at North Carolina and pick up their first victory of the season. It would be a massive momentum boost for this program if they could get the job done here in this one, but it would be highly unlikely, unless they come out hitting all of their shots, and they can control the pace of the game throughout the entirety of the contest here on Sunday afternoon. 

North Carolina is off to a solid start this season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another victory over Lehigh here on Sunday afternoon at home. They come into this game nationally ranked inside of the top 20 of the country and they will be looking to further establish themselves as a top team in the country. This season with a dominant win over a mid major program here on Sunday afternoon. Even without Caleb Love after he transferred away to Arizona, this team still has the potential to go pretty far in the tournament this season as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the year. North Carolina opened up the season with a double digit victory over Radford and I expect them to get another comfortable victory here on Sunday afternoon at home as well. 

Gardner-Webb @ #20 Baylor – 5PM ET

Gardner-Webb comes into this game looking to upset the Baylor Bears here on Sunday night in Waco. It would be a program boosting victory for the Gardner-Webb Bulldogs if they could find a way to pull off an early season upset of a top 20 team in the country here on Sunday night. They have split their opening two games of the season and they will be looking for their second victory of the year here on Sunday night on the road against Baylor in their toughest test of the regular season. After opening up the season with a solid victory, they got their first taste of power five opposition this season, and it left a sour taste in their mouth as they were blown out by Arkansas in their previous game. Now they will be looking to bounce back and pick up a victory over Baylor here on Sunday night on the road.

The Baylor Bears come into this game off to a solid start to the season, and they will be looking to keep them on Money and rolling here on Sunday night at home against Gardner-Webb. The Baylor Bears have plenty of potential this season to make a deep tournament run as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the regular season and getting a blowout victory here at home all remaining injury free goes a long way in helping accomplish that goal. They have picked up two solid victories to open up the year, including a solid victory over Auburn, in one of the marquee early season matchups. They will be looking to grab a third consecutive victory to open up the season against Gardner Webb here on Sunday night and that is exactly what I expect as I look for them to get a comfortable victory and cover the spread in the process.

Weber State @ #23 Saint Mary’s – 8PM ET

Weber State comes into this game looking to get a huge top 25 upset to give them a massive momentum boost early on in the regular season. They come into this game undefeated after their first game of the season and they will be looking to pick up their second victory of the season here on the road on Sunday night in their toughest matchup of the year. It was a solid 14 point victory to open up the season for Weber State but they will have to play a near perfect game of basketball if they want to replicate that performance and pick up a victory over Saint Mary’s here on Sunday night. They will have to make their shots almost every time down the floor and control the pace of the contest throughout the entirety of the game to pull off this top 25 upset in the second game of the season.

Saint Mary’s is off to a fantastic start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in their third game of the year on Sunday night at home against Weber State. They have picked up victories and back-to-back games to open up the season and they will be looking to keep it going as they look to further cement themselves as a top 25 team in the country with another dominant victory here on Sunday night at home. They come into this game off of back-to-back, double digit wins and they will be looking for a third consecutive double digit victory here on Sunday night at home against Weber State. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Saint Mary’s to pick up a comfortable victory here on Sunday night at home and I expect them to cover the spread in the process.
