Duke won in impressive fashion on Friday at Cameron Indoor Stadium, beating the USC Upstate Spartans 84-38. Kyle Filipowski had 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the team. The Blue Devils took the last meeting between the teams 88-50 at Cameron Indoor Stadium in December 2012.
The Fightin’ Blue Hens have been led so far this season by Nelson Jr. and Jyare Davis, who are averaging 18.0 and 17.5 points per game, respectively.
Davis also has dished 3.0 assists per game. Meanwhile, Christian Ray is grabbing 12.0 rebounds per game. Mark Mitchell (15.5 ppg) has powered the Blue Devils on offense. Filipowski is collecting 11.0 rebounds per game, and Jeremy Roach is distributing 5.5 assists.
