The No. 22 San Diego State Aztecs (22-5, 13-2 MWC) will try to slow down one of the country’s top scoring teams when they head to face the New Mexico Lobos (20-8, 7-8 MWC) on Saturday. San Diego State dominated the Colorado State Rams 77-58 at Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl on Tuesday, their fifth win in a row.
With 14 points, Jaedon LeDee was the leading scorer. Lamont Butler chipped in with 11 points. The Aztecs are first in the Mountain West Conference. New Mexico dropped their last game on Wednesday at ExtraMile Arena, falling to the Boise State Broncos 82-77.

After taking the only previous season matchup against San Diego State 76-67 at Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl on January 14, New Mexico will be aiming for a season sweep. Jaelen House led the Lobos with 29 points and six rebounds. Matt Bradley had 14 points in the loss.
