Read on below to find out UFC Best Bets for this weekend’s UFC 295!

Jiri Prochazka vs Alex Pereira – Light Heavyweight Title

Jiri Prochazka comes into this fight looking to win the vacant light heavyweight title against Alex Pereira here at UFC 295. He is one of the most dominant light heavyweight fighters in the division, and through 33 overall career fights. He comes into this fight with 29 victories. He will be looking to capture UFC gold in this fight while he searches for his 30th victory of his mixed martial arts career on Saturday night at UFC 295. He is currently the number one ranked light heavyweight within the division and he is 14th in the men’s pound for pound rankings coming into this fight on Saturday night. He will be looking to regain the title. He never lost after defeating Glover Teixeria to win the belt in his previous fight but then having to relinquish it due to injury. His last loss came over a decade ago in his second fight of the night as he has never lost a fight inside of a UFC octagon, and he will be looking to keep that streak alive with another dominant performance here on Saturday.

Alex Pereira comes into this fight, looking to win the light heavyweight title, and further establish himself as one of the most dominant forces in mixed martial arts today. He is currently ranked third in the light heavyweight rankings and he is one of the top 10 pound for pound fighters in the world at the moment. He is still very young into his career as he has only had a total of 10 mixed martial arts fights, and he has picked up eight victories in that span. He has become a bit of a knockout artist as six of his eight victories have come via knockout, and he will be looking to grab a seventh knockout victory here on Saturday night against one of the greatest knockout artists in the history of mixed martial arts. Pereira comes into this fight on a one fight winning streak, after beating Jan Blachowicz by split decision in his previous contest. I expect this fight on Saturday to be a quality fight, but in the end I look for it to go over its total rounds and go the distance at UFC 295.

Sergei Pavlovich vs Tom Aspinall – Heavyweight Title

Sergei Pavlovich comes into this fight looking to win the vacant heavyweight title here on Saturday night and if he continues to fight the way he has as of recently he should have no problem grabbing a victory over Tom Aspinall here on Saturday UFC 295. He is currently ranked number two in the heavyweight rankings, and he will be looking to capture his first title inside of the UFC after previously holding titles back in his home country of Russia. He has had 19 career fights and he has won 18 of those fights and he will be looking to win his 19th fight out of 20 with another victory here on Saturday night and this time it will come with some championship gold around his waist as well. He has become somewhat of a knockout Artist, as he has knocked out 15 people in his 18 victories and his other three victories have all come by decision. His last defeat came nearly 6 years ago in his first career UFC fight but since then he has gone undefeated inside of a UFC octagon, and he will be looking to keep that streak alive with another victory here on Saturday.

Tom Aspinall comes into this fight looking to win the heavyweight title and grab the first gold of his UFC career. He is currently the fourth ranked heavyweight in the divisional rankings, and he will be looking to establish himself as the number one overall heavyweight with a victory here on Saturday night. He has picked up 13 victories in 19 career fights and he will be looking for his 14th victory at UFC 295. 10 of those victories have come by knockout, and three of them have come by decision as he has yet to go the distance in a win during his mixed martial arts career. He comes into this fight on a one fight winning streak after winning his previous contest by knockout, and he will be looking to extend that winning streak to two with another quality performance here on Saturday night. If he wins this fight, he would become the interim UFC heavyweight champion. Unfortunately I don’t see that happening as I look for Pavlovich to grab the victory by knockout here on Saturday night at UFC 295.

SportsTips’ UFC Pick:

Pavlovich (-105) By KO (+100)

Jessica Andrade vs Mackenzie Dern – Strawweight

Jessica Andrade will be looking to pick up a quality strawweight victory here on Saturday night against Mackenzie Dern as she looks to get her way back up the rankings and compete for a UFC title within the next nine months. She is currently the fight ranked strawweight and the fifth ranked flyweight as well, she holds the number eleven overall spot in the women’s pound for pound rankings coming into this fight on Saturday night against Mackenzie Dern. In 36 career overall fights she has picked up 24 victories with several submission, knockout and decision victories across the board. She comes into this fight on a little bit of a losing streak as she has dropped her three previous contests, and she will be looking to get back into the wind column with a quality performance here on Saturday night.

McKenzie Dern will be looking for a massive victory here on Saturday night to move up the rankings within the strawweight division. She looks to take down a former UFC champion with a quality victory here at UFC 295. She comes into this fight on a one fight winning streak after defeating Angela Hill in her previous contest, and she has won two out of her last three as well. She has headlined three out of the last four fight night events, and made a UFC pay-per-view appearance in that time span and she will be looking to vault herself further up the card with a victory over Jessica Andrade here on Saturday night at UFC 295. Seven of her 13 career victories have come by submission and six of them have come by decision. She is not a girl that is going to knock you out. She has somebody that is going to take you down and submit you or take you the distance and pick up a victory by points. I expect to be back-and-forth and I look for it to go the distance here on Saturday night as I look for it to go the full 15 minutes between Dern and Andrade.
