Top Premier League Predictions for Game Week 32

Top Premier League Predictions for Game Week 32
Fri 16th April 2021

We are reaching the pointy end of the season, and with the gap between the mid, and top table not too far away, the race to cement a strong finish is well and truly on.

Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur

Friday, April 16th, 3.00 PM EDT

Everton host Tottenham Hotspur in the reverse fixture of their opening match of the season, that game ended 1-0 to Everton, but much has changed since then, and with the two teams sitting next to each other on the table this one is a must win.

The Toffees came out the gate firing this season, winning 4 of their first 5 games, but their form of late is the exact opposite, with just 1 win from the last 5 played.

They have especially struggled at Goodison Park, with a lacklustre home record of just 5-3-7, and a measly 5 goals scored across their last 8 games at home.

Tottenham haven’t fared too badly away from home in the Premier League this season, with a record 7-4-5. They have often found a way to get up over the clubs at the bottom half of the table, but struggled against more quality teams.

After their embarrassing away draw to relegation threatened Newcastle, the importance of a win here can not be overstated, for both the sake of their season, and potentially the security of Jose Mourniho’s job for another week.

Both teams are running horribly lately, neither are incapable of salvaging a decent finish though. Tottenham are unbeaten from their last 7 league games at Goodison Park, and given how the Toffees have performed at home recently, we expect Spurs to take all 3 points.

EPL Prediction: Tottenham Hotspur (+115)
Best Prop: Anytime Goal Scorer / Harry Kane (+105)

Newcastle vs West Ham

Saturday, April 17th, 7.30 AM EDT

Newcastle welcome the molten hot, West Ham, to St. James Park today, and having beaten the Hammers on the opening week, they will be attempting to do the double over them today.

It was an impressive performance from the Toons last year, however, this West Ham side is a different beast these days. Since David Moyes took charge, the Hammers are unbeaten from 22 games against teams in the bottom 10 of the Premier League table.

While West Ham have lost just 1 game from their last 5, Newcastle were just happy to get a win last week, beating Burnley away from home to end a 7 game winless streak.

The Hammers had been trending in the right direction for a while, but since the arrival of Jesse Lingard at the end of January, they have become electric, scoring 3 goals in each of their last 3 games, with Lingard responsible for 4 of them.

Considering the damage this West Ham outfit are doing to bottom table teams, Newcastle’s prospects are not looking good in this one, expect the Hammers to cement their place in the top 4 with an emphatic win here.

EPL Prediction: West Ham United (+105)
Best Prop: Over 2.5 Goals (-116)
