Wolfsberger vs Tottenham

Thursday, February 18th, 2.00PM ET

Hungary’s Puskas Arena serves as the neutral ground to the high stakes round of 32 tie between Wolfsberger and Tottenham Hotspur. For Wolfsberger, who currently sit 6th in the Austrian Bundesliga, this match will mark the first time they have ever made it to the knockout stage of a major European tournament.

Tottenham have also failed to impress domestically, after a strong start to the season, they now find themselves in 9th place on the league table, with the pressure on Jose Mourinho rising. Mired by defensive problems, coupled with a lack of attacking pressure, Spurs have been hard to watch at times this season.

However, they have performed well in European competition so far, and with their domestic hopes dashed, Mourinho will be expected to perform in the Europa League if he is to stay in the role.

Spurs will be resting a number of first team players in preparation for their Premier League clash with Westham on Saturday, however, given the gap in quality between the two clubs, Spurs should have no problem beating this struggling Wolfsberger side.

Europa League Prediction: Tottenham (-250)
Best Prop: Under 2.5 Goals (+220)

Royal Antwerp vs Rangers

Thursday, February 18th, 4.00PM ET

Royal Antwerp host Rangers at the Bosuilstadion in what will be an interesting matchup, with Antwerp heading into this match very hopeful given their most recent group stage victory over Tottenham Hotspur.

Unfortunately, Antwerp have been hit with the injury stick in the last few weeks, suffering big outs to 7 players, including star striker, Dieumerci Mbokani.

A depleted squad is bad enough, but coming up against a Rangers side which have been nothing short of unstoppable this year make’s this the ultimate challenge for Franky Vercauterens’ Antwerp.

Undefeated in both the Scottish Premiership and the Europa League this season, and having conceded just 8 goals in each tournament so far, Steven Gerrards’ Rangers are amongst the most consistent performers in Europe.

With a full squad of players to choose from, this match would look far more even, however, Antwerp are missing some big players in this clash and should struggle to catch a break against this well oiled Rangers machine.

Europe League Prediction: Rangers (-110)
Best Prop: To Nil (+340)

Young Boys vs Bayer Leverkusen

Thursday, February 18th, 2.00PM ET

Sparks could fly in Thursday’s meeting between the Swiss Young Boys and Germany’s Bayer Leverkusen, with both teams exciting, highly attacking brands of football a potential cause for lots of goals.

The Swiss heavyweights are once again dominating their domestic league, on track to win a fourth consecutive Super League, with a record of 14-5-1, and 36 goals scored so far. The Young Boys performed well in the group stages of the Europa League, finishing with 10 points from a possible 18, and scoring in every game.

Leverkusen comfortably topped their group stage, dropping only 3 points while averaging 3.5 goals per game, with 7 of those contributions coming from pacey Jamaican wonderkid, Leon Bailey, who is the tournament’s third highest goal scorer.

While the Young Boys comfortably made it past the group stages, when playing larger club, Roma, they struggled in both ties, however, still managed to score. Coming up against Leverkusen, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a big score line, with the German side the likely victor.

Europe League Prediction: Leverkusen (+215)
Best Prop: Over 2.5 Goals (-152)
