The Vancouver Canucks (13-14-3) host the St. Louis Blues (15-15-1), who will be looking to build on their winning streak, at Rogers Arena on Monday. St. Louis is coming off a 5-2 win over the Flames on Friday, their third straight win.
The Blues took advantage of their limited power play opportunities, scoring once on two shots while holding Calgary without a power play goal. Jordan Kyrou was the top goalscorer for the Blues with two goals. Thomas Greiss saved an impressive 41 of 43 shots (.953%) in the win.
Vancouver fell 5-1 to the Jets on Saturday. Bo Horvat was the only player to score for the Canucks. Spencer Martin only had 22 saves on 27 shots against (.814%) in the loss.
HEAD TO HEAD
The Blues won all three games between the teams last season, including a 4-3 victory in their final meeting in March, their third straight win against Vancouver.
Ryan O’Reilly (1G 1A) and David Perron (0G 2A) each had two points to lead St. Louis. Elias Pettersson led Vancouver with two goals. Ville Husso got the win despite saving only 22 of 25 shots (.880%).

St. Louis is averaging 2.97 goals per game for the season, 22nd in the NHL, and they are taking on a Canucks team that is allowing 3.87 goals a game (30th).
Meanwhile, Vancouver has found the net 3.37 times a game on average, ninth in the league, and the Blues are allowing opponents to score 3.65 goals per game (27th).
The Canucks’ 26.92% power play percentage ranks seventh in the league, while the Blues are 20th with a conversion rate of 21.18%. Penalty killing, however, has been a challenge for both teams, as Vancouver has the league’s second-lowest PK% at 68.13% and St. Louis is third-worst at 68.49%.

With 28 points each this season, Kyrou (13G 15A) and Robert Thomas (7G 21A) are the top skaters for the Blues. Brayden Schenn (24 points) has also been an offensive leader for St. Louis, scoring seven and assisting 17.
In the net, Jordan Binnington (11-11-1) is St. Louis’ top goaltender by goals against average. He has a 3.21 GAA and a .894% save percentage. Pettersson and Horvat lead the Canucks in scoring with 34 and 31 points, respectively.
Pettersson has 13 goals and 21 assists in 29 games, while Horvat has 22 goals (4th) and nine assists () in 30 games. Martin (9-3-1) has the best goals against average for Vancouver at 3.40. He has a save percentage of .894%.
HOME AND AWAY
St. Louis is looking for a fourth successive win away from Enterprise Center this season. Vancouver is 5-8-1 at Rogers Arena this season.
