They picked up a huge win on Sunday as they took down the Pittsburgh Penguins by a score of 4-1. Now they will be looking to make it two wins in two days.
The Chicago Blackhawks had a rough start to the season. They were never quite able to recover and it cost them a spot in the playoffs this season. They come into this game with a record of 26-42-11 through their first 79 games of the season. They are currently on a two game losing streak after back to back losses to the San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings. Now they will be looking to bounce back in this one. As for the result of this game, I am going with the Chicago Blackhawks to bring home the victory.

The only game of the NHL slate on Monday puts the Philadelphia Flyers against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Flyers will be on the always difficult back-to-back after taking down their in-state rival Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday 4-1. It’s the Flyers’ first two-game winning streak since early March and their hopes of getting it to three will come down to this road game with the Blackhawks, who are returning home after a three-game road trip. The Hawks went 1-2-0 on the trip, losing the last two games to the Kings and Sharks by a combined score of 2-8.
It’s not often you’ll see me backing the Philadelphia Flyers and it’s obvious why. They are one of the worst teams in the league but as of late have shown signs of life and I think it’ll be enough to get them past this Blackhawks team that is nothing special. There’s no reason to pay this price for Chicago against any team, especially with them coming off a West Coast trip. Give me the Flyers in the only game of the day.
