New York Jets @ Miami Dolphins – 1PM ET

It has been a long and gruelling season for the New York Jets after coming into the year with so many expectations of being a legitimate contender in the league. However, all of that changed when Aaron Rodgers went down with an injury only four plays into the opening game of the regular season. Now the New York Jets are just looking to finish the regular season on a strong note as all of their playoff hopes are gone and out the window, and they have been for quite some time at this point. They will look to pull off an upset victory on the road in Miami here on Sunday afternoon to hamper the Dolphins chances of getting one of the top seeds in the AFC this season. New York comes into this game three games below the 500 mark through their first 13 games of the season and they will look for their sixth victory of the year here on Sunday afternoon as they look to remain in playoff contention.

The Miami Dolphins are off to a quality start to the regular season much like they were last season but this season they have managed to avoid an epic collapse at the end of the year. They will look to keep the momentum rolling throughout this game at home on Sunday afternoon as they look to get one step closer to clinching the AFC East division, and one of the top seeds in the AFC as well. Miami has been consistent all season long and that will likely continue throughout this game against the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon as they look to add another victory to their record heading into the final three weeks of the regular season. Miami comes into this game with nine victories to their name throughout their first 13 games of the regular season. I look for them to pick up their 10th victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon against the New York Jets in comfortable fashion. I also look for the Miami Dolphins to cover the spread here in this one at home.

Houston Texans @ Tennessee Titans – 1PM ET

The Houston Texans came into the year expecting to be a rebuilding team, but number two overall pick CJ Stroud has had different ideas for this Houston team throughout the early part of the year. CJ Stroud has led them to some incredible victories throughout the regular season, and if they can break out of their current slump and get back into the win column here in this one it would put them in a great position to make a playoff appearance this season. They have an opportunity to pick up a solid divisional victory here on Sunday afternoon on the road in Nashville against the Tennessee Titans as they look to pick up a quality win and get things going in the right direction heading into the last three weeks of the year. Houston comes into this game with seven victories through their first 13 games of the season and they will look for their eighth victory of the year here on Sunday afternoon on the road in Tennessee.

The Tennessee Titans were expected to have a quality season this year, but things have not gone in their favor throughout the early part of the season. With only four weeks left in the regular season Tennessee will need to win out if they want to avoid having any losing season and keep any small sliver of hope alive that they have an opportunity to make the playoffs this season. They come into this game with eight losses through their first 13 games of the season and they have completely fallen off the tracks throughout the middle part of the year and that is something they will look to change as they look to build up as much momentum as possible throughout the end of the season. Tennessee does come into this game with a little bit of momentum after upsetting the Miami Dolphins in their previous game. However, I don’t look for them to maintain that momentum as I look for Houston to pick up the win on the road here in this one.

Chicago Bears @ Cleveland Browns – 1PM ET

It has been a long and unsuccessful season for the Chicago Bears, and the worst part of all of it is they don’t even own their first round pick in next year’s NFL draft. As they traded away their first round draft pick to a choir, DJ Moore over the offseason, and the Carolina Panthers are having a worse season than they are which means they will get two top five picks of next year’s draft. They had high expectations coming into the year, but when Justin Fields went down with a wrist injury and missed the majority of the season it was almost all officially over Chicago this year. Now they will come to Cleveland on Sunday afternoon and look to spoil the Cleveland Browns. Hopes of basically all but officially securing themselves a playoff spot for the first time in quite a while. Chicago does come into this game with a little bit of momentum, despite dealing with plenty of injuries as they have picked up two consecutive victories on the year. 

The Cleveland Browns are off to a fantastic start to the regular season, despite playing four different quarterbacks throughout the regular season as well. However, Cleveland still find themselves on the doorstep of making a playoff appearance this season because of their dominating defense that has carried them so many times throughout the year. Cleveland is also dealt with plenty of injuries throughout the season as a majority of their cap room, find themselves on the IR and out for the rest of the year, and they will look to overcome that once again here on Sunday afternoon and home against the Chicago Bears. They are coming off of a solid victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars and I expect them to keep the momentum rolling with a second consecutive victory here on Sunday against the Chicago Bears as well.

Kansas City Chiefs @ New England Patriots – 1PM ET

The Kansas City Chiefs come into this game, looking to pick up a solid victory on the road in New England as they look to keep the momentum rolling throughout the middle part of a season. A victory in this game would keep Kansas City in the running for one of the top seeds in the AFC heading into the last three weeks of the regular season. As they look to come in and get back on track with a much needed win over the New England Patriots here in this one. Kansas City comes into this game, needing to pick up a victory in this one as they have lost two in a row and three out of their last four on the season and they are in danger of potentially missing out on one of the top two seeds in the AFC this year. They will desperately need to get back on track against a struggling New England Patriots team and get things going in the right direction with a comfortable victory here in this one. This is unlike the Kansas City teams we’ve seen in the past and they will need to pick things up heading into the playoffs.

The New England Patriots have had a lot of struggles this season and it seems like after the regular season they will part ways with legendary head coach Bill Belichick. It is truly the end of an era for the New England Patriots and the New England Patriots franchises. They let go of check after the regular season and they will need to find a perfect replacement for a guy who has led them to so much success over the last two decades. However, it could possibly be time for a change of New England has been one of the worst teams in the league this season, and they have plenty of issues all over the football field. They have been unable to score the football throughout several weeks and it has left them losing some very heartbreaking games and that is something that has been hard for them to recover from this season. I don’t look for things to get better for them here on Sunday afternoon at home as I look for the Kansas City Chiefs to pick up the win on the road and cover the spread in the process.

Washington Commanders @ Los Angeles Rams – 4:05PM ET

It has been a long season for the Washington Commanders, but they come into this game on Sunday afternoon looking to play spoiler to the Los Angeles Rams out in Los Angeles. The Washington Commanders are going through a lot of changes this season as their previous owner Dan Sydner finally sold the team, and there is plenty of hope surrounding the future of this franchise because of that move. However, they will have to suffer through the remainder of this season before they get to the offseason and some exciting changes within the organization. They come into this game looking to spoil the playoff hopes of the Los Angeles Rams, but they will need to play a great game of football here on Sunday afternoon to get the job done on the road in Los Angeles. Washington comes into this game with nine losses through their first 13 games of the year and they will look for their fifth win of the season here on Sunday.

The Los Angeles Rams have struggled a lot throughout the year, and they have dealt with plenty of injuries, and they have overcome so many of them throughout the early part of the season as well. A victory in this game at home over Washington with put them in a position to potentially make the postseason this year, as they look to keep things rolling in the right direction throughout this game on Sunday afternoon. They come into this game right below the .500 mark through their first 13 games of the regular season and they will look for their seventh victory of the season here on Sunday to get back to .500 heading into the last three weeks of the year. However, if Los Angeles is unable to defend their home field and they lose in this game, it would virtually end any hopes they have of making the postseason this year. Although I don’t see that being the case, as I look for the Los Angeles Rams to grab the win here on Sunday afternoon at home against Washington.
