The Golden State Warriors (29-30, 22-7 Home), one of the NBA’s top scoring teams, play host to the Houston Rockets (13-45, 5-25 Away) on Friday. Houston was dismantled by the Oklahoma City Thunder 133-96 at Paycom Center on February 15, their seventh loss in a row.

Klay Thompson had 22 points in the losing effort, carrying the team. The Warriors are the 10th seed in the Western Conference. This marks the last meeting of the season between the teams.
Golden State will be seeking a season sweep against Houston after coming out on top in both of their earlier games, the last of which was a 120-101 victory at Chase Center in December 2022, their eighth straight head-to-head victory.
Andrew Wiggins led the Warriors with 36 points. Kevin Porter Jr. had 20 points in the losing effort. The Rockets have been led this season by Jalen Green, who is averaging 21.8 points per game.
Meanwhile, Alperen Sengun is contributing 8.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game. Thompson (21.4 ppg) and Jordan Poole (20.9) have powered the Warriors’ offense.
Kevon Looney is averaging 8.9 rebounds per game, and Draymond Green is distributing 6.7 assists. The Warriors are one of the highest-scoring offenses in the NBA, ranking second with 118.5 points per game. The Rockets are 1-5 in six visits to Chase Center.
