Boston currently sits in last place of the American League East division as they are fourteen games out of first and it is very unlikely that they will catch the New York Yankees at this point. The Baltimore Orioles have been the surprise team of the season as they are making a late season playoff push in the American League wild card race. They are also unlikely to catch the Yankees at this point as they sit in fourth place in the division. However, they are only 2 1/2 games out of the third and final wildcard spot in the American League and that’s where their goals are set right now.

They have lost it out of her last 10 games on the year and will come into this game on a one game losing streak.

The Chicago White Sox could really use a series win over the weekend as they are only a few games out of first place in what is the tightest divisional race in all of Major League Baseball in the American League Central division. However, before the season started the White Sox were expected to be the clear favorites in this division and they have been very disappointing so far this year. As they come into this game with a record of 61-58 through their first 119 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season.

The Atlanta Braves meanwhile are in second place in the National League East but are starting to run away with one of the wildcard spots in the National League as it looks like once again boring an epic collapse their playoff spot is secure at this point. The Braves come into this game with a record of 73-47 through their first 120 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. Atlanta has been hot lately as they have picked up nine victories in their last 10 games on the year and come into this game on a one game winning streak.

The San Diego Padres made a ton of moves at the 2022 trade deadline but it hasn’t paid off so far as they have been struggling as of late. They come into this game with a record of 66-55 through their first 121 games of the 2022 Major League Baseball season. They are 17 games out of first place in the National League West division as they will likely have to settle for a wild card spot this season. They have lost five out of their last ten games on the year and come into this game on a one game losing streak
