The No. 22 New Mexico Lobos (13-0, 1-0 MWC), one of the NCAA’s top scoring teams, are on the road to face the Wyoming Cowboys (5-8, 0-1 MWC) on Saturday. New Mexico outplayed the Colorado State Rams 88-69 at The Pit on Wednesday, their 13th straight win. Jaelen House was a top performer with 26 points.
Wyoming dropped their third in a row on Wednesday at Save Mart Center, falling to the Fresno State Bulldogs 58-53. Noah Reynolds had 16 points to top the scoresheet in defeat. This marks the only meeting of the season between the teams.
New Mexico and Wyoming split their matchups last season, taking one apiece. The Lobos came out on top in the last meeting 75-66 at The Pit on February 15. House led the Lobos with 34 points and six assists. Graham Ike had 26 points in defeat.
