The No. 24 TCU Horned Frogs (6-1) will be looking to prolong their winning streak when they welcome the Jackson State Tigers (1-6) on Tuesday. Jackson State edged past the SMU Mustangs 69-68 at Moody Coliseum on Saturday.

Trace Young led the way with 28 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks. TCU won their fourth in a row on Wednesday at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena, beating the Providence Friars 75-62. Eddie Lampkin Jr. had 16 points and 12 rebounds, carrying the team.

The Tigers have been led this season by Young and Ken Evans Jr., who are averaging 14.4 and 14.1 points per game, respectively. Young also has grabbed 6.1 rebounds per game, while Evans Jr. has dished 3.9 assists per game.

Mike Miles Jr. (13.0 ppg) has supplied much of the Horned Frogs’ offense. Lampkin Jr. is pulling down 7.3 rebounds per game, and Shahada Wells is recording 4.1 assists.
