Josiah-Jordan James led the team in scoring with 18 points. With 13 points and 11 assists, Zakai Zeigler also produced a strong performance. The Volunteers remain fourth in the Southeastern Conference.
The teams are meeting for the only time this season. Arkansas and Tennessee split their matchups last season, winning one game apiece. The Volunteers won the last meeting 78-74 at Thompson-Boling Arena in March 2022. Santiago Vescovi led the Volunteers with 15 points. JD Notae had 20 points in the loss.
Ricky Council IV is averaging 16.8 points per game to lead the Razorbacks in scoring this season. Meanwhile, Makhi Mitchell is grabbing 5.8 rebounds per game, and Anthony Black is dishing 4.3 assists. Vescovi (11.1 ppg), Zeigler (11.0), and Olivier Nkamhoua (10.6) have been the primary providers of the Volunteers’ offense.
