The Oklahoma Sooners (12-11, 2-8 Big 12), one of the top shooting teams in the Big 12 Conference, play host to the No. 9 Kansas Jayhawks (19-5, 7-4 Big 12) on Saturday.
Kansas topped the Texas Longhorns 88-80 at Allen Fieldhouse on Monday. Gradey Dick was a top performer with 21 points. The Jayhawks fell to fourth in the Big 12 Conference.
Oklahoma lost in blowout fashion on Saturday at WVU Coliseum, falling to the West Virginia Mountaineers 93-61. Grant Sherfield had 16 points to lead the team in scoring in defeat. The Sooners remain ninth in the Big 12 Conference.
It’s the final meeting of the season between the teams. Kansas will be looking for a season sweep against Oklahoma after winning the only previous matchup 79-75 at Allen Fieldhouse on January 10, their fourth straight head-to-head victory. KJ Adams Jr. led the Jayhawks with 22 points. Sherfield had 25 points in the loss.
The Jayhawks have been led this season by Jalen Wilson, who is averaging 20.7 points per game. Wilson also has grabbed 8.5 rebounds per game.
