The No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide (19-3, 9-0 SEC), one of the NCAA’s top scoring teams, travel to face the LSU Tigers (12-9, 1-7 SEC) on Saturday. Alabama outplayed the Vanderbilt Commodores 101-44 at Coleman Coliseum on Tuesday. With 22 points and eight rebounds, Brandon Miller led the way.
The Crimson Tide remain first in the Southeastern Conference. LSU lost their eighth in a row on Saturday at Pete Maravich Assembly Center, falling to the Texas Tech Red Raiders 76-68. Adam Miller had 20 points in defeat, carrying the team.
The teams are meeting for the final time this season. After winning the only earlier season game against LSU 106-66 at Coleman Coliseum on January 14, Alabama will be looking for a season sweep. Miller led the Crimson Tide with 31 points and nine rebounds. KJ Williams and Cam Hayes had 10 points each in the losing effort.
