Northwestern @ #15 Indiana – 12pm ET

The Northwestern Wildcats are having a solid season up until this point and I expected to continue in this game when they hit the road to Bloomington to play the Indiana Hoosiers. The Wildcats come into this game having one 11 of their first 14 games of the 2022–23 college basketball season. They have also won four out of their last five games on the year as well and come into this game riding a wave of momentum as they look to grab a top 25 victory and a conference win on the road on Sunday.

The 15th ranked Indiana Hoosiers coming to this game looking to grab another win in the big 10 conference play early on in the season. They have picked up 10 victories in their first 14 games on the year, and they will look to break their recent losing streak here today. It has been a rough stretch for them as of late as they have lost some games on the road to some of the top programs in the sport. However, I expect them to bounce back in this one and pick up the victory over Northwestern.

#24 Ohio State @ Maryland – 1pm ET

The Ohio State Buckeyes are coming off of a crushing defeat against the number one team in the nation at home in their last game. They led the Purdue Boilermakers almost the entire game before giving up a late three and that would end up being their undoing as they would walk away from that game with a loss. Now they will hit the road and play a tough Maryland team and they will have to bring their best game if they want to grab a win in conference play on Sunday afternoon.

The Maryland Terrapins aren’t having the season. They would’ve expected early on this year. However, they have still picked up 10 victories in their first 15 games on the schedule and now they will be looking to grab a conference win against a ranked Ohio State team at home. They have stumbled out of the gate in Big Ten play as they only have one win in their first four conference games of the year. However, I think they will pick up a win over Ohio State at home in this one.

#2 Houston @ Cincinnati – 3pm ET

The Houston Cougars are the second best team in the nation according to the current Associated Press top 25 poll. However, don’t let the rankings for you as they will certainly have their hands full and this game against the Cincinnati Bearcats on the road. Houston comes into this game. Haven’t picked up 15 victories in their first 16 games of the season and they are still undefeated in American Athletic Conference play coming into this one as well.

Despite coming into this game on rank, the Cincinnati Bearcats have the potential to pull off an upset win over the number two team in the country at home. It has been a solid start to the year for the Bearcats as they have picked up 11 victories in their first 16 games of the season. However, I don’t see them winning this game against a very tough Houston squad although I do have them covering the spread against Houston as I look for this one to be close.

#1 Purdue @ Penn State – 6pm ET

The Purdue Boilermakers likely will no longer be the number one team in the country when the new rankings come out. However, they are still coming into this game riding a wave of momentum after they’re huge win over the Ohio State Buckeyes. They are putting together a tremendous season so far as they have picked up 14 victories in their first 15 games of the season. 

The Penn State Nittany Lions aren’t having a bad season themselves, but they aren’t as good as Purdue is. They have picked up 11 victories in their first 15 games of the season and they will have to bring their best performance if they wanna get the upset when at home in this game. However, I don’t see that happening as I think Purdue will start to string together. Some wins after being upset by Rutgers earlier in the week.
