James Madison is having an absolutely incredible start to the regular season and they will be looking to remain undefeated with another quality victory here on Sunday afternoon at home. James Madison comes into this game with seven victories through their first seven games of the regular season, and they will be looking for an eighth consecutive win here in this one. As they look to further establish themselves as a top 25 team in the country heading into the final month of 2023. They are coming off of back-to-back blowout victories against Buffalo and Fresno State and they will be looking for a third consecutive blowout victory here on Sunday afternoon at home as they look to remain undefeated heading into the month of December. A victory in this game would keep them perfect before heading into their first conference game in their next contest against Old Dominion.

It has been a rough start of the year for Keystone and they will be looking to grab the upset of the year with a victory here on Sunday afternoon on the road against James Madison. They come into this game with six losses in their first seven games of the regular season and they will need to play a perfect game of basketball if they want to pick up a victory here on Sunday on the road against a nationally ranked and undefeated James Madison team. It will certainly be an uphill climb for Keystone here in this one on Sunday afternoon and it is just very unlikely for them to get the job done as this game will likely be over by the time the first half buzzer sounds. That is exactly what I expect out of this game as I look for James Madison and I only pick up a comfortable victory here on Sunday afternoon but I look for them to cover the spread by wide margin here in this one as well.

#15 Creighton @ Nebraska – 4PM ET

The Creighton Blue Jays are off to a fantastic start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Sunday afternoon on the road against Nebraska. They come into this game ranked 15th in the country and they will be looking to further establish themselves as a top 10 team once again as they string together some quality performances after losing to Colorado State last week. They have one of the best playmakers in the country and as long as Trey Alexander remains healthy and consistent they have a legitimate opportunity to make a deep run in the NCAA tournament. They are coming off of a solid victory against Oklahoma State and their previous game. They will be looking for a second consecutive victory here on Sunday in Lincoln against the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Creighton comes into this game as winners of six out of their first seven of the year, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another quality win here in this one.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers are off to an absolutely fantastic start to the regular season as they come into this game undefeated through their first seven games of the year. This should be a solid match up here on Saturday afternoon as these two quality teams get together and one of them looks to pick up a huge résumé building victory early on in the regular season. Nebraska will need every résumé building victory they can get along the way as they are getting ready to enter into Big Ten conference play at the turn of the new year. It will be one of the most competitive conferences in college basketball this season, for the Cornhuskers, grabbing a victory over a top 25 team will only further their case for being competitive within the conference this season. However, I don’t see that happening as I look for Creighton to grab the win here on Sunday afternoon in Lincoln against Nebraska.

Southern @ #21 Mississippi State – 4PM ET

Southern is having a very rough start to the regular season, and they will be looking for a huge momentum boosting victory here on Sunday afternoon in Starkville against Mississippi State. They come into this game as losers of six out of their first seven games on the season and unless they play a perfect game of basketball here on Sunday afternoon, they will leave Starkville as losers of this one as well. They have been completely overmatched in all six of their losses this season and I don’t see this game going any different here on Sunday afternoon against Mississippi State unless something magical happens throughout this game. They will need to make their shots every trip down the court and they will need to control the time of possession in this one if they want to keep it close heading into halftime and give themselves an opportunity to upset Mississippi State here on Sunday. 

Mississippi State is off to a quality start to the regular season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Sunday afternoon at home. They come into this game ranked 21st in the country as they have picked up six victories in their first seven games of the regular season and they will be looking for their seventh one of the year here at home on Sunday afternoon against Southern. They are only giving up about 60 points per game throughout their first seven games of the season as they have had one of the toughest defenses in the country throughout the early part of the regular season. They will be looking to bounce back after losing to Georgia Tech in Atlanta in their previous game. However, as of right now that lost to Georgia Tech looks like a quality loss after the way they have performed throughout the early part of the regular season. I expect Mississippi State to bounce back in this game and pick up a comfortable victory here in this one as well as cover the spread in the process.
