Bryant @ #10 Florida Atlantic – 6PM ET

Bryant is off to a less than respectable start this season, and they will be looking for a massive momentum boosting victory here on Saturday night against the top 10 team in the country. They come into this game as losers of three out of their first four games on the year, and they will be looking for their second victory of the season here on Saturday against Florida Atlantic. It certainly won’t be easy for them as they will face one of their toughest tests of the season here in this game on Saturday night in Boca Raton. They will need to play an efficient mistake free game if they want to come away with the victory here in this one and pull off one of the biggest upsets of the early college basketball season. They come into this game after back-to-back blowout losses from Boston and Rutgers and they will be looking to snap a two game losing streak with a quality performance here on Saturday night. 

The Florida Atlantic Owls are off to a fantastic start this season, and they will be looking to further establish themselves as a top 10 team in the country with another blowout victory here on Saturday at home. After a fantastic run throughout the NCAA tournament last year, they will be looking to capitalize off of the momentum from that and get back to the NCAA tournament this season and make another Cinderella run throughout the bracket. Florida Atlantic opened up their season with a quality victory on the road against Loyola Chicago and then they torched Eastern Michigan in their previous game, and they will be looking for a third consecutive victory to open up the season here on Saturday night at home. That is exactly what I expect out of Florida Atlantic as I look for them to pick up the win and cover the spread in the process here on Saturday night. 

Texas Southern @ #8 Creighton – 8:30PM ET

Texas Southern has been one of the more respectable mid majors throughout the last several seasons, and they will be looking for an early season statement victory here on Saturday night on the road against Creighton. This is an opportunity to put themselves further on the map and get a massive momentum boost early on in the year as they look to return to the NCAA tournament at the end of the season. They have had a very rough start to the season however, as they have yet to win a game through their first three contest of the season, and this would be their first one of the year, and it would be a massive one, if they could find a way to pull off the upset. They will need to be much better on the defensive end of the court and a lot more efficient on the offensive end of the court as they are averaging less than 50 points per game throughout the first three games of the regular season.

Creighton comes into this game undefeated, and they will be looking to remain undefeated with a blowout victory of Texas Southern here on Saturday night at home. This is a Creighton team that has the potential to make a NCAA tournament run this season as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the year. They are arguably the favorites to win their conference, and they play in one of the most competitive conferences in the country so they will certainly be battle tested by the time the NCAA tournament comes around. They are coming off of a solid victory over a power five program after taking down the Iowa Hawkeyes in their previous game and they are currently on a three game winning streak to open up the season with two comfortable wins in the process. I expect them to make it four out of four with another quality performance here on Saturday night at home as I look for them to grab the victory and cover the spread as well.
