The No. 4 UCLA Bruins (24-4, 15-2 Pac-12), one of the NCAA’s top scoring defenses, are on the road to face the Colorado Buffaloes (15-14, 7-11 Pac-12) on Sunday. UCLA beat the Utah Runnin’ Utes 78-71 at Jon M. Huntsman Center on Thursday, their seventh straight win.

Colorado lost in blowout fashion on Thursday at CU Events Center, falling to the USC Trojans 84-65. KJ Simpson had 18 points and  six rebounds in the losing effort, leading the team.

The Buffaloes remain ninth in the Pac-12 Conference. It’s the last meeting of the season between the teams. After winning the only prior season game against Colorado 68-54 at Pauley Pavilion on January 14, their third straight head-to-head victory, UCLA will be aiming for a season sweep. Jaquez Jr. led the Bruins with 23 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocks. Simpson had 17 points in the losing effort.

The Bruins have been led this season by Jaquez Jr., who is averaging 17.0 points per game. Jaquez Jr. also has grabbed 8.1 rebounds per game. Meanwhile, Tyger Campbell is dishing 4.8 assists. Tristan da Silva (16.1 ppg) and Simpson (15.4) have supplied much of the Buffaloes’ offense. da Silva also has pulled down 4.9 rebounds per game, while Simpson has distributed 3.8 assists per game.
