The Baylor Bears (22-9, 11-7 Big 12) take on the Iowa State Cyclones (18-12, 9-9 Big 12) Thursday at T-Mobile Center in the Big 12 Conference Tourney quarterfinals.
Iowa State defeated Baylor 73-58 at Ferrell Center on Saturday in their regular season finale. Jaren Holmes led the Cyclones with 16 points and seven rebounds.
Adam Flagler had 20 points in the loss. Holmes and Gabe Kalscheur, averaging 13.2 and 12.7 points per game, respectively, are leading the Cyclones in scoring this season. Meanwhile, Osun Osunniyi is grabbing 4.0 rebounds per game, and Tamin Lipsey is dishing 4.6 assists.
Keyonte George (15.5 ppg), Flagler (14.6), and LJ Cryer (13.2) have supplied much of the Bears’ offense. Flagler also has distributed 4.5 assists per game.
