Free UFC Best Bets For UFC 276
Sat 2nd July 2022

We are looking at an absolutely stacked card for UFC 276, on July 2nd. The main event is a huge title fight and the co-main event is also a title fight.

Read on below to find out UFC Best Bets for this weekend’s UFC 276!

Israel Adesanya vs Jared Cannonier (Middleweight Title Fight)

Israel Adesanya will be defending his UFC Middleweight Championship against Jared Cannonier in this one. Adesanya is one of the most dominant fighters in Mixed Martial Arts history as he comes into this fight with a record of 22-1-0 through 23 career professional fights. He is currently on a two fight winning streak and has won 22 out of his last 23 fights in his career. This will be his fifth defense of his Middleweight title. It is worth noting that four out of his last five fights have gone the distance for the full five rounds. Fifteen of his wins have come by knockout.

Jared Cannonier is coming into this fight with a record of 15-5-0 through his first 20 career professional fights. He is six years older than his opponent as he comes into this fight at 38 years old. He is also six inches shorter than Adesanya as well as he is giving up a ton when it comes to age and height as well as a two and a half reach advantage to the champion. 15 of his 20 wins have come via knockout and he is on a two fight win streak. He has won five out of his last six fights as well. I have Adesanya retaining by knockout.

Tony’s UFC Pick: Adesanya (-550), By Knockout (+150)

Alexander Volkanovski vs Max Holloway (Featherweight Title Fight)

Alexander Volkanovski will be defending his Featherweight Title against Max Holloway in this fight. Volkanovski comes into this fight with a record of 24-1-0 in 25 career professional fights. He is the current number two ranked pound for pound fighter in the entire UFC at the moment. Half of his 24 wins have come by knockout and he won his last fight by Technical Knockout as well. He is on a 21 fight win streak and has not lost since 2013, and has never lost in the UFC. Five of his last seven fights have gone the distance and he will be making his fourth defense of his Featherweight title.

Max Holloway is coming into this fight with a record of 23-6-0 in 29 career professional fights. He has lost two previous fights against Alexander Volkanovski and he will be looking to clinch his first win in this three peat saga on Saturday. 10 of his wins have come by knockout while 11 of his 23 wins have come by decision. He has never been knocked out over the course of six losses in his professional Mixed Martial Arts career. He is on a two fight winning streak and has not lost since his back to back losses to the current Featherweight champion. However, I think he will lose the third fight in this trilogy as well, as I am going with Volkanovski by decision.

Tony’s UFC Pick: Volkanovski (-200), By Decision (+100)

Sean Strickland @ Alex Pereira (Middleweight)

Sean Strickland comes into this fight with a record of 25-3-0 in 28 career professional fights. Ten of those wins have come by knock out while Eleven have come by decision. He is on a six fight winning streak and has picked up victories in seven out of his last eight fights. His last loss came over four years ago as he was knocked out at UFC 224. That is the only time he has ever been knocked out or submitted in his professional Mixed Martial Arts career. He is currently ranked fourth in the UFC Middleweight division and with another win in this fight he could line himself up for a title shot in the near future.

Alex Pereira comes into this fight with a record of 6-1-0 in seven career professional fights. His lone loss came in his first career professional Mixed Martial Arts fight, seven years ago in 2015. His last fight went the distance, it was the first decision of his career as well. He is still in the early stages of his Mixed Martial Arts career and is a rising star already. I think he picks up the upset victory in this fight via decision.

Tony’s UFC Pick: Pereira (+105), By Decision (+450)
