The Vegas Golden Knights (13-2-0) will be out to add to their winning streak when they play host to the St. Louis Blues (4-8-0) at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday. St. Louis is playing their first of four games on the road coming off a high-scoring 5-3 win over the Sharks on Thursday, breaking an eight-game losing streak.
Five players found the net for the Blues. Jordan Binnington only saved 27 of 30 shots (.900%) in the win. Vegas is returning home for a four-game homestand after an exciting 7-4 win over the Sabres on Thursday, their ninth consecutive win.
Jack Eichel was the leading goal scorer for the Golden Knights, netting a hat trick. Logan Thompson stopped only 31 of 35 shots (.885%).
HEAD TO HEAD
The Blues won two of the three games between the teams last season, although the Golden Knights were 7-4 victors in their final meeting in April. Eichel led Vegas with three points (2G 1A). Ryan O’Reilly led St. Louis with three points (2G 1A). Thompson got the win despite saving only 14 of 18 shots (.777%).

St. Louis is averaging just 2.33 goals per game for the season, worst in the NHL. The visitors will face a tough test against a Golden Knights team that is allowing only 2.27 goals a game (1st).

With 11 points each this season, Justin Faulk and Brayden Schenn are the top skaters for the Blues. Both have three goals and eight assists in 12 games.
Vladimir Tarasenko (10 points) has been another top performer for St. Louis, scoring four and assisting six. In the net, Binnington (3-5-0) is St. Louis’ top goaltender by goals against average. He has a 3.37 GAA and a .886% save percentage.
Eichel leads the Golden Knights in scoring with 19 points. He has nine goals and 10 assists in 15 games. Thompson (7-2-0) has the best goals against average for Vegas at 2.12. He has a save percentage of .930%.
HOME AND AWAY
St. Louis is seeking to reverse a four-game road losing streak this season. Vegas has lost three straight at home this season.
