It has been a rough start to the season for the Montréal Canadiens and they will be looking for a much needed victory here on Wednesday night on the road in Columbus. It has been several years since the Montréal Canadiens were a competitive franchise within the league, and it seems like it’ll be several more years before it happens again. That is only if the beginning of this season is any indication of how they will perform throughout the rest of the year. They still have plenty of time to get things going in the right direction and they will be looking for a huge momentum boost here on Wednesday night in Columbus against the Blue Jackets. Montreal comes into this game is losers of 12 out of their first 21 games of the regular season and they will be looking to grab their 10th victory of the season here on Wednesday night against Columbus. 

Columbus has had their own struggles to open up the season and they will be looking to get things on track as well and it starts with grabbing a victory here at home against Montreal on Wednesday night. Columbus came into the year with plenty of expectations, but they have not lived up to those expectations thus far and they will be desperate to grab a victory here in this game to close out the month of November on a strong note. Columbus comes into this game as losers of 16 out of their first 23 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their eighth victory of the season here on Wednesday night at home against the Montréal Canadiens. Columbus does have a little bit of momentum coming into this game after picking up a victory over the Boston Bruins in their previous contest. I expect them to keep them on, rolling and pick up a victory over the Montréal Canadiens here at home on Wednesday as well.

Detroit Red Wings @ New York Rangers – 7:30PM ET

It has been a pretty average start to the season for the Detroit Red Wings, and they will be looking for a huge momentum boost here on Wednesday night on the road at Madison Square Garden. Detroit comes into this game hovering above .500 through their first 20 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 12th victory of the year here on Wednesday night on the road. Detroit needs to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice if they want to maintain long-term success throughout the year. As they cannot afford to give up an average of three goals per game and continue to pick up victories at a solid rate. They have plenty of momentum coming into this game on Wednesday night on the road against the New York Rangers. As they have picked up three victories and their previous three games, and they will be looking for a fourth consecutive victory here on Wednesday night. 

It has been a rather successful start to the season for the New York Rangers, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another quality performance here on Wednesday night at home against the Detroit Red Wings. The New York Rangers have been a very successful team in the regular season throughout the past couple years, but they have yet to find sustainable success in the postseason as they continue to hunt for a Stanley Cup title. As long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the year this season, they could go into the playoffs as one of the favorites to bring home the championship. The New York Rangers come into this game as winners of 15 out of their first 20 games on the regular season and they will be looking for their 16th victory of the season here at home on Wednesday night against Detroit. That is exactly what I expect out of the New York Rangers as I look for them to pick up a solid victory here on Wednesday night against the Red Wings and cover the spread in the process.

Washington Capitals @ Los Angeles Kings – 10:30PM ET

Washington is having a decent start to the regular season and they will be looking to maintain that decent start of the season with a quality performance out west against the Los Angeles Kings. Washington comes into this game two games above the .500 mark through their first 18 games of the regular season and they will be looking for an eleventh victory here on Wednesday night on the road in Los Angeles. They should have plenty of rest coming into this game on Wednesday night against the Los Angeles Kings as they are one of the teams with the least amount of games played throughout this part of the regular season. They will be looking to use that extra rest to their advantage and pick up a victory here on Wednesday night on the road against Los Angeles as they look to keep them a minimum rolling in the right direction throughout the early part of the season. 

The Los Angeles Kings are having a quality start to the regular season, and they will be looking to maintain that quality start of the season with a solid performance here on Wednesday night at home against Washington. For the last several seasons, the Los Angeles Kings have been a legitimate contender in the Western Conference, and they are one of the toughest teams in the league to beat on their home ice. They will be looking to further prove that narrative to be true with another quality game here at home against Washington on Wednesday as they look to add to their win total throughout the early part of the season. They will be looking to close out the month of November strong and a comfortable victory in this game would help them accomplish that goal if they could get the job done here on Wednesday night. Los Angeles comes into this game as winners of 13 out of their first 19 and I expect them to grab their 14th victory of the season here on Wednesday as well.
