Colorado Avalanche @ Tampa Bay Lightning – 8.00pm ET

The Tampa Bay Lightning did exactly what they needed to do in Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final, and that was to win. In the end, it was a pretty comfortable win over the Colorado Avalanche, with the final score being 6-2. The Lightning will be looking for a repeat performance tonight so they can head back to Colorado with the series tied at 2-2.

Marko Nadin

The Tampa Bay Lightning stayed alive in the Stanley Cup finals series by winning Game 3 and also got the momentum with a dominant 6-2 win. It was a high intense game, with the Lightning proving why they are defending champions and that they will not go down without a fight. The Avalanche opened the score and it seemed like the series would remain a one-way street but the way the Lightning responded, it gives them a reason to still believe in winning their third-consecutive NHL title. Going into Game 4, I believe they will find a way to tie the things up and send the series back to Colorado with a 2-2 score.

Tampa Bay has won 8 of the last 10 games following a win, 152 of the last 211 games when their opponent scores 2 goals or less in their previous game and 9 of the last 13 Stanley Cup final games. Colorado has won 7 of the last 8 road games, 10 of the last 12 games after allowing 5 goals or more in their previous game and 20 of the last 28 games when their opponent scores 5 goals or more in their previous game.

Marko’s NHL Pick: Tampa Bay Lightning (-110)

Tony Battalio

The Colorado Avalanche are looking to bounce back after their Game 3 loss. They still hold a 2-1 series lead over the Tampa Lightning here in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals. The Avalanche are still in a great spot at the moment as they are two wins away from dethroning the two time Stanley Cup champions. They are still out scoring the Lightning, 13-9.

The Tampa Bay Lightning got a much needed victory over the Colorado Avalanche in Game 3 of this series. They became one of three teams to win after losing by seven or more goals in the previous game. Tampa Bay is also still a great spot to win their third straight championship. As for the result of this game however, I am going with the Colorado Avalanche to get the win.

Tony’s NHL Pick: Colorado Avalanche (-110)

Jeffery Thomas

The two-time defending Stanley Cup champions, the Tampa Bay Lightning got themselves back in the series with a dominant 6-2 victory in Game 3 as things shifted back to their home arena. That was the first road loss of the postseason for the Colorado Avalanche, who were a perfect 7-0 up until that point away from Denver. A big weight had to be lifted off the shoulders of Tampa as they saw their first lead of the series and never looked back, but they’ll have to dial in with the same motivation and determination to knot this series up at 2-2.

Goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy had a great game in net and moved his record to 14-1 in his last fifteen postseason home starts, and 4-0 in his last four in the Stanley Cup Final home games. This is shaping up to be another series dominated by the home teams and I expect the Bolts to once again take care of business in front of their fans to even the series.

Jeffery’s NHL Pick: Tampa Bay Lightning (-110)
