Boston Bruins @ New York Rangers – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Boston Bruins, and they will be looking to bounce back after losing to Detroit on Friday afternoon. Boston is off to an incredible start to the regular season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling by getting right back into the win column here on Saturday afternoon in New York. Despite the blowout loss at home to Detroit on Friday afternoon, Boston still possesses one of the best records in the league and they will be looking to maintain that throughout the rest of November and well into the month of December as well. Boston is having a fantastic start to the season as they look to be on pace to break the record they set last season for most wins in a single regular season. However, they will be looking to advance farther into the postseason this time around after being upset in the first round last year.

The New York Rangers come into this game looking for a solid victory at home against the Boston Bruins to keep the momentum rolling on their hot start to the season. The New York Rangers are off to a fantastic start and they will be looking to further establish themselves as a contender to win the Stanley Cup title this season with a quality victory here on Saturday afternoon at home over the Boston Bruins. The New York Rangers come into this game with 14 victories already this season and they will be looking for their 15th win of the year here on Saturday afternoon on their own home ice against the Boston Bruins. This is a showdown between the top two teams in the league at the moment and this should be a solid game and arguably the best game of this Saturday slate. I look for them to both score plenty of goals in this game and that is why I’m going with the over here on Saturday afternoon at Madison Square Garden.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Over 6 Goals (+100)

Montreal Canadiens @ Los Angeles Kings – 4PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Montréal Canadiens come into this game looking to pick up an upset victory on the road in Los Angeles here on Saturday afternoon. It has been a less than impressive start to the season for the Montréal Canadiens and they will be looking to get things back on track with a performance here in this game on Saturday in Los Angeles. Montreal has played 20 games this season and they come into this game two games below the .500 mark and they will be looking to grab a victory in their 21st game of the year here on Saturday night on the road. They will need to improve their play on the defensive end of the ice as they are giving up nearly 4 goals per game and that is not sustainable for long-term success for them this season. However, they do have a little bit of momentum coming into this one after picking up a victory in their previous game. As they grab themselves a close victory on the road in Anaheim and they will be looking to continue their road trip with another victory here in this one.

The Los Angeles Kings will be looking to pick up the victory at home here on Saturday afternoon against the Montréal Canadiens. They have been very tough to beat at home over the last couple of years, and they will be looking to hold through to that narrative with another quality performance here on Saturday against Montreal. Los Angeles has also been a playoff contender over the last several seasons as well, and they will be looking to keep themselves in contention and to do that they need to pick up victories and games like these in the middle of the season as every game makes a difference when it comes down to the final stretch of the year. Los Angeles is off to a quality start this season as they come into this game with 12 victories through their first 18 games of the year and they will be looking for their 13th win of the season here on Saturday afternoon. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Los Angeles Kings to not only pick up the victory, but cover the spread in the process.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

LA Kings -1.5 (-110)

Buffalo Sabres @ New Jersey Devils – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Buffalo Sabres are off to a pretty average start to the regular season, and they will be looking for a solid victory on the road in New Jersey here on Saturday night. Buffalo has been one of the worst franchises in the league so are showing plenty of progress throughout the early part of this regular season. They will be looking to maintain that progress throughout the rest of the year and grabbing a victory here in this game on the road against New Jersey would go a long way in helping them obtain that goal. Buffalo comes into this game with nine victories through their first 20 games of the regular season as they are hovering below the .500 mark and they will be looking to take a step closer to getting back to 500 with a victory here on Saturday night on the road. Buffalo has lost four out of their last five and they will be looking to get back on track with a win here in this game on Saturday night on the road against the New Jersey Devils.

It has been a rather rough start to the season for the New Jersey Devils as they come into this game with a losing record and they find themselves two games below the .500 mark through their first 18 games of the season. They will be looking to grab a solid victory here at home on Saturday night against the Buffalo Sabres as they look to get their season back on track after a hot start that quickly faded into some frustrating losses throughout the month of November for New Jersey. The New Jersey Devils we have to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice says they are giving up around four goals per game throughout the early part of the year and that is not sustainable for them to be successful. They come into this game as losers of four out of their last five and two in a row, and they will be looking to get back into the win column with a quality performance here on Saturday night. That is exactly what I expect out of New Jersey as I look for them to bounce back and pick up the win over Buffalo here on Saturday.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Toronto Maple Leafs @ Pittsburgh Penguins – 7PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Toronto Maple Leafs come into this game on Saturday night in Pittsburgh looking to grab a solid win to keep their season going in the right direction. They come into this game with 10 victories through their first 18 games of the season and they have plenty of momentum coming into this game on Saturday night in Pittsburgh. As they find themselves currently on a four game winning streak, and they will be looking for their fifth consecutive victory of the season here on Saturday night in a very tough environment. Toronto has been successful throughout the regular season over the last couple of years, but they have been unable to carry that success over into the postseason. However, that is something they will be looking to change this season as they look to remain healthy and consistent throughout the year. This is the first game for Toronto on the road after a lengthy stay at home, and they will be looking to kick off this trip on a positive note.

Pittsburgh comes into this game, looking to derail the momentum of the Toronto Maple Leafs with a quality performance here on Saturday night at home. It has been somewhat of a rough start to the regular season for Pittsburgh, and they will be looking to recover and get the momentum rolling in the right direction with a quality performance here in this game. This is a franchise that has built a dynasty over the last decade and a half but the dynasty is getting older and older, and they haven’t exactly found the right combination of new players to step up and take over quite yet. Pittsburgh comes into this game slightly below .500 through their first 19 games of the season and they will be looking to grab their 10th victory of the year here on Saturday night at home against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Unfortunately for Pittsburgh I don’t see that happening as I look for the Toronto Maple Leafs to pick up the win on the road here on Saturday night.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:

Toronto Maple Leafs (-115)

Arizona Coyotes @ Vegas Golden Knights – 10PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Arizona Coyotes are having a somewhat respectable start of the year, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night as they travel from one desert to another to take on the defending Stanley Cup champions. The Coyotes have long been one of the worst franchises in the league, so to see them making progress as a good sign for the competitive balance in the NHL. Despite coming into this game with a losing record, they are hovering slightly below the .500 mark and they will be looking to get things going in the right direction with a victory on the road against the Vegas Golden Knights here on Saturday night. It will certainly be no easy task, playing in one of the toughest areas in the league, but Arizona will have to play efficient mistake free hockey here on Saturday night if they want to get the job done against Vegas. They will need to improve on the defensive end of the ice as they are giving up three goals per game and they have lost four out of their last five on the year.

The defending Stanley Cup champions are not experiencing any type of championship hangover as they find themselves off to a fantastic start this season. They will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Saturday night at home against Arizona, as they look to pick up another victory on their home ice and further establish themselves as a legitimate contender to win their second consecutive title. Vegas comes into this game with 14 victories through their first 20 games of the season and they will be looking to grab their 15th victory of the season here on Saturday night at home against Arizona. They come into this game after beating Dallas in overtime on the road in Dallas for a statement victory and they will be looking to grab their second consecutive victory as they return home for this game on Saturday night. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Vegas to not only pick up the victory here on Saturday night, but I look for them to cover the spread as well.

SportsTips’ NHL Pick:
