Montreal comes into this game with two victories to their name on the season through their first four games and they will be looking to pick up their third victory of the year here on Monday night on the road in Buffalo. It has been an average start of the season for them and they will have to play much better if they want to be legitimately looked at as a potential playoff team this season. Montreal will be looking for their second consecutive victory of the season as they are coming off of a shootout victory over the Washington Capitals and their previous game on Saturday.

The Buffalo Sabres will be looking to pick up a solid victory at home here on Monday night against the Montréal Canadiens. Buffalo is coming off of a victory, and they have picked up two wins in their last three games, and they will be looking to make it three out of their last four with another victory here at home on Monday night against the Montréal Canadiens. Buffalo is coming into this game after a victory against the New York Islanders, and they will be looking to make it two wins in a row as they try to even up their record and pick up their third victory of the season. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Buffalo Sabres to grab the victory at home here on Monday night against the Montréal Canadiens in the only NHL game of the day.
