Tampa Bay Lightning @ Toronto Maple Leafs – 7PM ET

Tampa Bay comes into this game looking to grab a quality victory on the road north of the border in Toronto here on Monday night. It has been a pretty underwhelming start of the season for Tampa Bay as they come into this game with a losing record through their first 11 games of the season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the year here on Monday night in Toronto. Kucherov has been carrying Tampa Bay throughout the early part of the regular season and he will need to continue to do so if they want to pick up a victory over Toronto here on Monday night on the road in Canada. Their road trip in Canada got off to a solid start as they come into this game after beating the Ottawa Senators in their previous contest and they will be looking for their second consecutive victory here in this one.

The Toronto Maple Leafs come into this season with plenty of expectations and so far it has been a pretty average start of the season for Toronto. They will be looking to get the momentum rolling and get back on track with a victory here on Monday night at home against Tampa Bay. As they look for a statement victory against another potential contender within the Eastern Conference this season. Toronto comes into this game with a losing record through their first 11 games of the season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the year here on Monday night against Tampa Bay. It has been the Auston Matthews show throughout the early part of the season and I expect more of the same here in this one as I look for him to leave the Maple Leafs to a victory at home on Monday night. 

Columbus Blue Jackets @ Florida Panthers – 7PM ET

Despite coming into the season with tons of expectations, it has been a rough start of the year for the Columbus Blue Jackets. At the moment it seems as if Columbus still has some work to do in their rebuilding process and they will not be ready to compete this season or potentially next season either. They will be looking to put together a performance on the road against the Panthers here on Monday night as they look to get some momentum rolling early on in the year. Columbus comes into this game as losers of seven out of their first 11 games on the season and they need to get things turned around rather quickly if they want to remain competitive throughout the year. They will also be looking to snap a one game losing streak after dropping their previous game to Washington on the road.

The Florida Panthers come into this game looking to pick up a solid early-season victory at home as well as further add to the Blue Jackets misery throughout the early part of the year. Florida is off a pretty average start this season as they come into this game as winners of five out of their first 10 games on the season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the year here on Monday night in front of their home fans against a struggling Columbus team. Florida comes into this game on a one game losing streak after dropping the finale of a road trip to Chicago and they will be looking to get a victory in their return home in this game against Columbus on Monday. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Florida Panthers to pick up the victory over Columbus here in this one.

Boston Bruins @ Dallas Stars – 8PM ET

It has been an absolutely fantastic start to the season for the Boston Bruins and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Monday night on the road in Dallas. Less than a year after setting the NHL record for most victories in a single regular season. Boston is back on pace to break the record that they just recently broke as long as they remain consistent and healthy throughout the regular season. Boston comes into this game with nine victories through their first 11 games of the season and they will be looking to make it 10 out of 12 with another quality performance here on Monday night on the road in Dallas. Out of a possible 20 points Boston has picked up 19 of them as they are off to an absolutely incredible start this season, and as of right now, they look like they will run away with the top seed in the Eastern Conference. 

It has been a pretty solid start of the season for the Dallas Stars as well and they will be looking to grab a crucial early season victory here on Monday night at home against the Boston Bruins. Dallas will be playing in front of their home fans in a building that they have been very hard to beat in over the last several seasons and that is a narrative. They will be looking to keep up with a quality win and an early season statement victory over the Boston Bruins here on Monday night. Dallas comes into this game as winners of seven out of their first 10 games on the season and they will be looking to make an eight out of 11 with another win here on Monday night at home against Boston. Unfortunately for Dallas I don’t see that happening as I look for Boston to pick up the victory in this one on the road here on Monday.

Edmonton Oilers @ Vancouver Canucks – 10PM ET

It has been an absolutely disastrous start to the season for the Edmonton Oilers, and they will be looking to put the train back onto the tracks with a victory here on Monday night on the road against Vancouver. This is a game that feels like an early must win game for the Edmonton Oilers after the way they have started off the season after coming into the year with so many expectations. Edmonton was one of the few teams that came into the year with expectations of potentially competing for a Stanley Cup trophy, and they have absolutely not lived up to those expectations throughout the early part of the season. Connor McDavid has already missed a significant amount of time throughout the early part of the year and the longer it takes him to get going, the longer it will take for Edmonton to start finding success this season.

It has been a pretty successful start to the season for the Vancouver Canucks, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Monday night with a victory over the Edmonton Oilers. They have been pretty tough to beat at home throughout the early part of the season, and they will be looking to defend home ice once again against Edmonton here on Monday night. Vancouver comes into this game as winners of eight out of their first 11 games on the season and they will be looking to make it nine out of 12 with another quality performance here at home on Monday night against Edmonton. Vancouver has already picked up two victories over Edmonton this season and I look for them to pick up a third consecutive victory here on Monday night at home.
