The Boston Bruins are off to a very hot start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Monday night on the road against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Boston is on pace to re-break the record they broke last season for most victories in a single regular season with the way they have been playing throughout the early part of the year. Boston comes into this game on Monday night in Tampa Bay with thirteen victories in their first sixteen games of the season, and a pair of their losses have come in overtime as well. Which means they are absolutely killing it with a total of 28 points out of a possible 32 to open up the regular season. If they manage to maintain this pace throughout the rest of November and December, they could run away with the division by the time the All-Star break comes around. Although that is unlikely, they will be looking to grab a solid victory here on Monday night against Tampa Bay to keep the momentum rolling.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be looking to derail the momentum of the Boston Bruins with a victory here on Monday night at home. They are one of the toughest teams in the league to beat at home, and they will be looking to further prove that narrative to be true with a quality performance here on Monday night against one of the top teams in the league. Tampa Bay is off to a rather rough start to the season and they will be looking to get things back on track with a quality performance here on Monday night at home against the Boston Bruins. They come into this game with ten losses through their first 18 games of the season, and they are hovering around the .500 mark as well. They will be searching for their ninth victory of the season here on Monday night at home but unfortunately I don’t see that happening. I expect this to be a close and competitive game throughout all the way down to the final whistle but in the end, I look for Tampa Bay to come up short. As I look for the Boston Bruins to go on the road and pick up the victory in this game against Tampa Bay.

Edmonton Oilers @ Florida Panthers – 7PM ET

The Edmonton Oilers are off to a very rough start this season, and they will look to continue turning things around with a victory here on Monday night against the Florida Panthers. Edmonton got behind early when Connor McDavid missed several games with an injury and it put them behind the eight ball early on in the regular season. They will be looking to get back on track throughout the remainder of November, as they look to reestablish themselves as a contender this season. Edmonton comes into this game with eleven losses through their first sixteen games of the regular season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the season here on Monday night in Florida. They are coming off of a loss to Tampa Bay and their previous game. They will need to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice as they are giving up nearly 4 goals a game throughout the early part of the year.

Florida comes into this game looking to continue their solid start to the season with a quality victory at home against the Edmonton Oilers. They are a very tough team to beat on their home ice, and they will be looking to maintain that narrative with another quality performance here on Monday night against Edmonton. Florida comes into this game with eleven victories through their first 17 games of the season and they will be looking for their 12th victory of the season here on Monday night. They are recently coming off of a road trip that had them on the West Coast to play the likes of the Los Angeles Kings and the Anaheim Ducks. Florida comes into this game on a one game-winning streak after picking up a victory over Anaheim in their previous game. I expect them to grab a second consecutive victory here on Monday night at home against the Edmonton Oilers as they look to keep the momentum rolling to open up this homestand heading into Thanksgiving.

Colorado Avalanche @ Nashville Predators – 8PM ET

Colorado is off to a fantastic start this season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling on the road in Nashville here on Monday night. After winning a Stanley Cup two years ago, they were knocked out in the first round of the postseason by the Seattle Kraken last year, and they will be looking to recover from that early on in this season. So far they have shown no signs of some type of playoff hangover, and they will be looking to keep them on rolling here in this one in Nashville as they look for a quality victory away from home to open up the week. Colorado comes into this game with 11 victories through their first 16 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 12th victory of the season here on Monday night on the road against the Predators. This game also provides Colorado with an opportunity to put some ground between them and Nashville within the division as they currently sit in second place in the Central division at the moment. 

The Nashville Predators are off a very slow start to the regular season, and they will be looking to get a huge momentum boosting victory here on Monday night against Colorado at home. Nashville is usually a team that is contending for a playoff spot every year but this year they are off to a rather rough start to the season. They come into this game as losers of 10 out of their first 16 games on the season, and they will be looking to bounce back with a crucial victory here on Monday night at home against one of the top teams in the league. They currently sit in seventh place of the division, and they will be looking to climb out of the basement throughout the remainder of November as they look to get the train rolling in the right direction heading into the final month of the year. They come into this game with some momentum after snapping a losing streak and picking up a win over the Chicago Blackhawks in their previous game. Unfortunately, I don’t look for this game to end in a victory for them as I look for Colorado to grab the win on the road.

New York Rangers @ Dallas Stars – 8PM ET

The New York Rangers come into this game looking to get a quality victory away from home here on Monday night in Dallas against the Stars. They are off to an absolutely fantastic start to the regular season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in this one on Monday night as they look to further establish themselves as a contender for the Stanley Cup this year. The New York Rangers come into this game with 12 victories already this season and they will be looking for their 13th victory of the season here on Monday night in a tough environment. This is a solid early season, measuring stick game for the New York Rangers as it will allow them to gauge where they are at in terms of being legitimate contenders this season. They come into this game with plenty of momentum as they are currently on a four game winning streak, and they will be looking for a fifth consecutive victory here in this one.

The Dallas Stars are off to a quality start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with a solid victory at home here on Monday night. This will also be a solid measuring stick game for the Dallas Stars in this one against the quality team in the Eastern Conference like the New York Rangers. The Dallas Stars is coming to this game with 11 victories through their first 16 games of the season and they will be looking for their 12th victory of the season here on Monday night at home against the New York Rangers. They have been a successful and consistent playoff team over the last several seasons, but they haven’t made much noise outside of putting together quality regular seasons. They will be hoping that this year ends rather differently for them and they make a playoff run and they will need to remain healthy and consistent to do that. I expect this to be a close and competitive game throughout the entirety of the contest on Monday, but in the end I look for the Rangers to grab the win on the road.

San Jose Sharks @ Vancouver Canucks – 10PM ET

The San Jose Sharks have been the worst team in the league this season and that is likely not going to change anytime soon. They have been absolutely awful throughout the early part of the regular season as they have been inconsistent, and downright horrendous on both the offensive and defensive ends of the ice throughout the majority of the year. Unless something changes rather quickly, this is a San Jose team that will easily finish as the worst team in the league this season, and they may very well be out of the playoff race by the time the All-Star break comes around as well. San Jose comes into this game with three victories, through their first 17 games of the regular season, and they will be desperately searching for a fourth victory here on Monday night on the road north of the border against the Vancouver Canucks. They were able to break a three game losing streak with a victory in their previous game, and they will be looking for a second consecutive win in this one.

The Vancouver Canucks have been fantastic throughout the early part of the regular season, and they have been very tough to beat at home as well. This has been a years-long rebuilding process that has paid off for the Vancouver Canucks and they are finally reaping the benefits of that throughout the early part of this season. They will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another quality performance here on Monday night against the San Jose Sharks at home as they look too further improve upon their already solid start to the regular season. Vancouver comes into this game with 12 victories through their first 18 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their 13th victory of the season here on Monday night at home against San Jose. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Vancouver Canucks to pick up the victory at home and cover the spread in the process here in this one.
