The Toronto Maple Leafs come into this game looking to pick up a victory against the Detroit Red Wings here on Friday afternoon. Toronto will have the rest advantage in this game after Detroit was an action on Thursday afternoon, and they will be looking to use that to their advantage and pick up a much-needed victory here in this one in the second leg of the NHL global series. The Maple Leafs come into this game with eight victories, through their first fifteen 15 games of the season and they will be looking to pick up their ninth victory of the year here on Friday afternoon against a struggling Detroit team. Toronto has the potential to be one of the best teams in the league this season as long as they remain healthy and consistent and they will be looking to stay on track with a victory over the Red Wings here on Friday afternoon. They come into this game on a two game winning streak, and they will be looking for a third consecutive victory here in this one.

Detroit will be looking to bounce back after they were blown out by the Ottawa Senators in the first game of a back to back on Thursday afternoon. Now they will hit the ice once again on Friday afternoon looking to get back into the win column against the Toronto Maple Leafs as they look to keep their decent start of the season going. The Red Wings come into this game at .500 through their first sixteen games of the season as they have picked up eight victories and eight losses along the way. They will be looking to grab their ninth victory of the season here on Friday afternoon against a very solid Toronto team and clean up their mess from their loss to the Ottawa Senators yesterday afternoon as well. The Detroit Red Wings currently sit in the middle of the pack within the division and a victory in this one would help them gain ground on the upper half of the division heading into the rest of November. Unfortunately for Detroit I don’t see that happening as I look for Toronto to grab the win here on Friday afternoon.

Buffalo Sabres @ Winnipeg Jets – 8PM ET

It has been a somewhat respectable start to the season for the Buffalo Sabres, considering they have long been one of the worst teams in the league. They will be looking to keep that solid start to the season going here on Friday night on the road north of the border against the Winnipeg Jets.  Buffalo comes into this game just under .500 as they have picked up seven victories in their first sixteen games of the season and they will be looking for their eighth victory of the season here on Friday night on the road against the Winnipeg Jets. Injuries have hurt the Buffalo Sabres throughout the early part of the regular season as they are dealing with a plethora of them and they will be looking to overcome that and grab a much-needed victory here on Friday night. They’re coming into this game looking to get back into the wind column as they are currently on a two game losing streak, and they have lost three out of their last four as well. 

The Winnipeg Jets come into this game looking to defend their home ice against the Buffalo Sabres on Friday night. It has been a solid start to the season for the Winnipeg Jets as they come into this game as winners of eight out of their first fifteen games on the year. Now they will be looking to make it nine out of sixteen with another quality performance here on Friday night at home. Winnipeg will be looking for a solid victory at home here on Friday night against Buffalo as they look to get some momentum going early on in the regular season. Winnipeg comes into this game with plenty of momentum after picking up a victory over New Jersey in their previous game. They have also won four out of their last five on the season and I look for them to make it five out of six with another victory here on Friday night at home against the Buffalo Sabres.

Florida Panthers @ Anaheim Ducks – 10PM ET

The Florida Panthers come into this game against the Anaheim Ducks on Friday night looking to pick up a solid victory during this West Coast road trip. This will be the second game of a back to back for the Florida Panthers after playing the Los Angeles Kings on Thursday night and they will be looking to wrap up this back to back with a positive result against Anaheim here on Friday. Florida is off to a respectable start this season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Friday night as this road trip continues for the Panthers and they look to rack up wins out on the West Coast before heading home. Florida has hit double digit wins through their first sixteen games of the season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another quality victory here on Friday night against Anaheim. They will need to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice throughout the year as they are giving up nearly three goals a game, which is not sustainable for long-term success.

Anaheim comes into this game looking to get a solid victory at home on Friday night against the Florida Panthers as I look to get the momentum rolling on the young season. Anaheim comes into this game with a winning record through their first sixteen games of the season and they will be looking to break the double digit win barrier with a quality performance here on Friday night against Florida. They will be looking to get right back into the win column after breaking a two game winning streak in their previous game with a loss to the Colorado Avalanche. They will need to clean up their play on the defensive end of the ice as they come into this one giving up over three goals a game this season and that will not get them any victories anytime soon. I don’t look for them to get them the victory in this game on Friday night as I look for Florida to pick up the wind on the road.
