Sunday, September 24th

Tennessee Titans @ Cleveland Browns – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Tennessee Titans will be looking to pick up their second victory of the season when they hit the road to play Cleveland on Sunday afternoon. They are coming off of an overtime victory over the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend, and they will be looking to make it two consecutive victories with another win on the road as they look to put themselves on top of the AFC south division. They will have to rely heavily on their all pro running back Derrick Henry if they want to get the win against a quality Cleveland defense here on Sunday afternoon on the road. Tennessee will be looking to pick up their second consecutive victory of the year and shut down another quality offense like they did to the Los Angeles Chargers last weekend.

The Cleveland Browns will be looking to bounce back from a heartbreaking loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last weekend. They will have to do it without arguably the best running back in the league Nick Chubb after he had a season ending injury in that loss to Pittsburgh on Monday night. Cleveland still has plenty of talent to get the job done and they will have to rely heavily on their defense to win this game against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday afternoon. Their defensive unit has been solid throughout the first few weeks of the season and they will have to lean on them for the remainder of the year if they want to continue picking up victories, as Deshaun Watson still tries to get back into form. That is exactly what I expect as I look for Cleveland’s defense to be the difference in this game and help the Browns pick up the victory.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Cleveland Browns (-175)

Denver Broncos @ Miami Dolphins – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been a roller coaster of a start to the season for the Denver Broncos and they will be looking to pick up a crucial victory here in the third week of the season on the road in Miami. Denver comes into this game with one victory and one loss on the year and they will be looking to bounce back after they lost last weekend and pick up a victory in one of the toughest places to play in the league. Quarterback Russell Wilson will have to play a lot better this week in Denver wants to get the job done against the Miami Dolphins and the Denver Broncos defense will have to come up big against an electric Miami Dolphins offense as well.

The Miami Dolphins have looked solid through the first two weeks of the 2023-24 National Football League season. Their offense has been nearly impossible to stop and they will be looking to grab a third consecutive victory here on Sunday afternoon at home against the Denver Broncos. Miami will feast on Russell Wilson, if he performs like he has performed throughout the first two weeks and makes mistakes in key moments. They also should have their way against a less than impressive Denver defense and that is why I expect Miami to get a quality victory in this game on Sunday afternoon at home over the Denver Broncos.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Miami Dolphins -6 (-110)

New Orleans Saints @ Green Bay Packers – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

The New Orleans Saints will be looking to pick up their third consecutive victory of the season on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field against the Green Bay Packers. So far brand new quarterback Derek Carr has paid off for the franchise as he has been solid throughout the first couple weeks of the year. This will also be there last week without Alvin Kamara in the backfield as he returns from his three game suspension next weekend, which will give a much-needed boost to this New Orleans offense. They will be looking to pick up their third consecutive victory of the season behind yet another solid performance from Derek Carr in this one until Kamara gets back next weekend.

The Jordan Love era in Green Bay has gotten off to a solid start and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here in week number three of the season at home against the New Orleans Saints. He has gotten off to a solid start and he will be looking to keep his momentum rolling as well here on Sunday afternoon at home against an undefeated New Orleans team. Green Bay will be looking to bounce back after their close loss to Atlanta last week but their defense is very beat up but I think that’ll cost them another victory here on Sunday afternoon. That is why I have the New Orleans Saints picking up the win in this one.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

NO Saints (-105)

Los Angeles Chargers @ Minnesota Vikings – 1PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Los Angeles Chargers will be looking to pick up their first victory of the season after two close and competitive losses throughout the first two weeks of the year. Brandon Staley could potentially be on the hot seat of Los Angeles fails to pick up another victory here against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon as it would be their third consecutive losses of the season, and they would still be winless after being one of the favorites in the AFC this season. Quarterback Justin Herbert will have to continue to play solid football and the defense will have to step up against Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings here on Sunday afternoon on the road.

The Minnesota Vikings will also be looking to pick up their first victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon at home against the Los Angeles Chargers. Minnesota traded for some reinforcements during the week as they traded for Los Angeles Rams starting running back Cam Akers, because they’re starting running back Alexander Mattison continues to fumble the football away and cost them games. Kirk Cousins will have to play a lot better in this game and the defense will have to step up if Minnesota wants to pick up a victory over the Los Angeles Chargers here at home on Sunday. Regardless of the result, I expect this game to go over. It’s total combined points on Sunday afternoon.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Over 54 Points (-110)

Monday, September 25th

Philadelphia Eagles @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 7:15PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Philadelphia Eagles have been flying high throughout the first two weeks of the season and they will be looking to pick up the third consecutive victory here on Monday night  on the road in Tampa Bay. They are the defending NFC champions, and there is a reason that they are once again favored to win the NFC for the second consecutive season, and return to the Super Bowl. That is because this is a well oiled machine on both sides of the football and they have been chugging along perfectly fine throughout the first two weeks of the year and they will be looking to grab a third consecutive win against Baker Mayfield and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have looked solid in the post Tom Brady era so far and brand new quarterback Baker Mayfield is finally starting to look like the number one overall pick he was drafted to be. However, this will be their first real test of the season as they faced off against one of the best defensive units in the entire league. It’ll be interesting to see if they can continue playing as well as they have been throughout the last two weeks when they are going against some serious competition. Unfortunately for Tampa Bay I don’t see that happening as I look for Philadelphia to grab themselves a third consecutive victory and cover the spread here on Monday night on the road.

SportsTips’ NFL Pick:

Philadelphia Eagles -4.5 (-115)
