The Chicago Bulls (28-33, 10-20 Away) will be out to halt their losing skid on the road Tuesday when they travel to face the Toronto Raptors (30-32, 19-13 Home), who will seek to add to a winning home run of their own. Chicago dismantled the Washington Wizards 102-82 at United Center on Sunday.
With 29 points and six assists, DeMar DeRozan was a top performer. The Bulls are 11th in the Eastern Conference. Toronto lost in blowout fashion on Sunday at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, falling to the Cleveland Cavaliers 118-93.
Pascal Siakam scored 25 to top the scoresheet in the losing effort. With 13 points, nine rebounds, and three assists, Jakob Poeltl also produced a strong performance. The Raptors are the ninth seed in the Eastern Conference.
This marks the last meeting of the season between the teams. Chicago and Toronto have split their two matchups this season. The Bulls triumphed in the most recent meeting, beating the Raptors 111-97 at United Center in November 2022.
Zach LaVine led the Bulls with 30 points. Fred VanVleet had 27 points in defeat. DeRozan and LaVine, averaging 25.3 and 24.2 points per game, respectively, have led the Bulls in scoring this season. DeRozan also has dished 5.1 assists per game.
Meanwhile, Nikola Vucevic is grabbing 11.5 rebounds per game. Siakam (25.3 ppg) has supplied much of the Raptors’ offense. Siakam also has collected 7.7 rebounds per game. VanVleet has tallied 6.6 assists per game.
The Bulls have struggled in recent visits to Scotiabank Arena, losing eight of the last 10. Chicago is seeking to reverse a four-game road losing streak this season.
