The Oklahoma City Thunder (7-10, 4-4 Home), one of the NBA’s top scoring teams, host the Denver Nuggets (10-7, 6-5 Away) on Wednesday. Denver is playing on back-to-back days after getting narrowly beaten by the Detroit Pistons 110-108 at Ball Arena yesterday.

Oklahoma City came up short on Monday at Paycom Center, falling to the New York Knicks 129-119. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander topped the scoresheet in defeat with 30 points.
With 24 points and eight rebounds, Luguentz Dort also had an impressive game. The Thunder are the 12th seed in the Western Conference. It’s the last meeting of the season between the teams. Denver will be aiming for a season sweep against Oklahoma City after taking both of their prior meetings, the most recent of which was a 122-110 victory at Paycom Center on November 3, their third straight head-to-head victory. Aaron Gordon led the Nuggets with 27 points. Gilgeous-Alexander had 37 points in the loss.
The Nuggets have been led this season by Jokic, who is averaging 21.5 points per game, best in the NBA. Jokic also is contributing 9.4 rebounds and 9.0 assists per game, placing him first and first in the NBA, respectively.
Gilgeous-Alexander’s 31.1 points per game have powered the Thunder on offense. He has the top scoring average in the league. Gilgeous-Alexander also has distributed 6.0 assists per game, most in the league.
Josh Giddey has averaged 7.2 rebounds per game. With 116.4 points per game, the Thunder are one of the highest-scoring offenses in the league (3rd).The Nuggets are 7-3 in the last 10 games at Paycom Center.
Meanwhile, the Nuggets won the only previous game when playing on consecutive nights this season, which also saw them playing against a rested opponent. The Thunder are 0-3 with a rest advantage.
