Desmond Bane led the Grizzlies with 30 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. Jalen Green had 20 points in the loss. The Rockets have been led this season by Green, who is averaging 21.9 points per game.
Meanwhile, Alperen Sengun is contributing 8.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game. Ja Morant has been the primary provider for the Grizzlies on offense, averaging 27.1 points per game. He has the eighth-best scoring average in the league.
Morant also has tallied 8.2 assists per game, sixth-most in the league. Jackson Jr. has averaged 6.6 rebounds per game. The Grizzlies are one of the stingiest scoring defenses in the league, ranking fifth with 112.1 points per game allowed.
