It’s the final meeting of the season between the teams. Los Angeles will be looking for a season sweep against Charlotte after triumphing in the only previous matchup 119-117 at Spectrum Center on December 5, their ninth straight head-to-head victory. Oubre Jr. topped all players in scoring with 28 points in defeat.
Paul George had 19 points and seven assists for the Clippers. The Hornets have been led this season by Oubre Jr. and Terry Rozier, who are averaging 21.1 and 20.9 points per game, respectively. Both are among the league’s top scorers, as Oubre Jr. is No. 1 and Rozier is first.
