Phoenix Suns @ Detroit Pistons – 3PM ET

The Phoenix Suns are off to a less than impressive start this season, and they will be looking to grab a huge momentum boosting victory here on Sunday afternoon on the road in Detroit. With all the talent on this Phoenix Suns roster, you would’ve expected them to get off to a better start this season, but they have been dealing with injuries throughout the early part of the year that has kept several of their major stars on the sidelines. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Phoenix Suns after they faced off with the Philadelphia 76ers on Saturday afternoon. This game against Detroit will also be the second game of a three game road trip and they will be looking to grab a huge much-needed victory here in Detroit on Sunday afternoon. 

The Detroit Pistons are a young but hungry team and they come into this game looking to grab a solid victory over one of the best teams in the Western Conference. It has been somewhat of an underwhelming start of the season for Detroit as they come into this game as losers of four out of their first six games on the season. They will be looking to get the momentum rolling in the right direction and grab their third victory of the season with a quality performance here at home against Phoenix. Detroit will be looking to snap a three game losing streak with a victory here on Sunday at home against the Phoenix Suns. Unfortunately for Detroit, I don’t see that happening as I look for Phoenix to pick up the victory here on the road on Sunday afternoon.

Toronto Raptors @ San Antonio Spurs – 3:30PM ET

At one point in time just a few years ago, the Toronto Raptors were one of the major players in the NBA, and now they find themselves trending downwards towards the bottom of the league. It has been a rough start to the season for the Toronto Raptors as they come into this game as losers of four out of their first six games on the season. Now they will be looking to get back on track with a victory on the road in San Antonio here on Sunday afternoon. This is an opportunity for Toronto to get a huge momentum boosting win against the San Antonio Spurs team that has been one of the worst teams in the league throughout the last several years as well. Toronto comes into this game looking to break a one game losing streak after losing to Philadelphia and their previous game. 

The San Antonio Spurs are off to a quality start this season, considering the expectations they had coming into the year. Number one overall draft pick Victor Wembanyama is starting to break out, and he delivered a massive performance in their previous game. Now he will be looking to replicate that performance here on Sunday night at home against the Toronto Raptors. They come into this game with three victories to their name through their first five games of the season, and they will be looking for their fourth victory of the season here at home against Toronto. They are currently on a two game-winning streak after back-to-back victories against the Phoenix Suns and I look for them to grab a third consecutive victory here on Sunday against Toronto.

Golden State Warriors @ Cleveland Cavaliers – 6PM ET

The Golden State Warriors are off to a fantastic start this season, and they will travel to Cleveland where they have so many fantastic memories of winning multiple NBA championships. Although it is early on in the regular season, they will still be looking for a huge victory on the road in Cleveland here on Sunday night as they look to add to their 5-1 start to the regular season. It has been a successful, but stressful month of November for the Golden State Warriors as they have picked up back-to-back victories over Sacramento in Oklahoma City in rather close fashion. Both of those games ended within two points, but Golden State came out on the winning end of both of them. Golden State comes into this game on a five game winning streak as they have been incredible over the last week and a half and they will be looking to extend their winning streak to a sixth game here on Sunday.

Cleveland comes into this game needing a huge momentum boosting victory over the Golden State Warriors here on Sunday night at home. Despite some stellar performances from guys like Donovan Mitchell Cleveland has struggled throughout the early part of the regular season. This is a team that came into the year with plenty of expectations and they will be looking to live up to those expectations after their early exit in the postseason last year. They have lost four out of their last five on the season and they come into this game following a loss to the Indiana Pacers so they will need a victory to get things rolling in the right direction here on Sunday night. Unfortunately for Cleveland I don’t see that happening as I look for Golden State to pick up the wind on the road.

Charlotte Hornets @ Dallas Mavericks – 7:30PM ET

The Charlotte Hornets are off to a slow start this season and they will be looking to pick up a crucial momentum boosting victory here on Sunday night on the road against the Dallas Mavericks. Charlotte is having a hard time generating offensive and defensive production throughout the early part of the regular season and they will need to start stringing some victories together early on in the year to avoid falling too far behind the pack. This will be the second game of a back-to-back for the Charlotte Hornets after facing off with the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night, and they will be looking to grab a crucial victory in the third final game of this short road trip. Charlotte will have to play a near perfect game and figure out how to stop Luka Dončić if they want to grab a win here in this one on the road in Dallas.

The Dallas Mavericks are off to a pretty solid start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another victory here on Sunday night at home against the Charlotte Hornets. Luka Dončić has picked up right where he left off and he has been incredible throughout the early part of the regular season, and he will be looking to continue putting up quality performances in this one on Sunday night. Dallas will be looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season after dropping their previous game to the Denver Nuggets and they will be looking to get right back into the column with a quality performance here on Sunday night against Charlotte. Is exactly what I expect out of the Dallas Mavericks as I look for them to pick up the victory here on Sunday night at home.

Memphis Grizzlies @ Portland Trail Blazers – 9PM ET

Memphis will be looking to get revenge for their loss to Portland on Friday night after they had several opportunities to win the game late. They are off to an absolutely awful start this season without Ja Morant in the lineup as they have yet to pick up a victory through their first six games of the season. They will be looking to break through the glass ceiling and pick up their first victory of the season here on Sunday night in their second consecutive game against Portland as they look to get some momentum rolling early on in the year. With the way they have been trending this season, if they do not start turning it around here soon they will be well out of playoff contention by the time Ja Morant returns from his suspension later on this year. 

Portland comes into this game looking to build on more momentum after their victory over Memphis on Friday night in overtime. It has been a slow start to the post Damian Lillard, and they will be looking to start stringing victories together as they look to remain competitive in the Western Conference this season. Following their victory on Friday night over Memphis, Portland comes into this game with three victories through their first six games of the season and they will be looking to grab their fourth victory here on Sunday night at home. I expect this to be a second consecutive competitive game between Portland and Memphis, but in the end I look for Portland to grab yet another victory over Memphis here on Sunday night.
