The Philadelphia 76ers are off to a quality start to the regular season and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Sunday afternoon on the road against the Brooklyn Nets. Even without James Harden, Philadelphia has not missed a strike throughout the early part of the regular season and they will be looking to further prove to James Harden that they do not need him on this roster to be a successful team. Philadelphia comes into this game with nine victories through their first 12 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their tenth victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon in Brooklyn. They are coming off of a tournament game victory over the Atlanta Hawks and Embiid has been a monster throughout the early part of the regular season powering them to this hot start with his 32 points per game average. They will be looking to grab their second consecutive victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon against the Brooklyn Nets. 

The Brooklyn Nets are off to a less than impressive start to the regular season, and they will be looking to get things rolling in the right direction with a huge momentum boosting victory here on Sunday afternoon at home. Just two years ago the Brooklyn Nets look to be a championship contender with a big three of Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving on the roster. However, two years later none of those guys are around and Brooklyn is going through another rebuilding process. They come into this game sitting around the .500 mark through their first 12 games of the regular season and they will be looking for their seventh victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon at home against Philadelphia. They had a two game winning streak snapped in their previous game when they lost to the Miami Heat and they will be looking to get back into the win column with a victory here on Sunday. Unfortunately, I don’t see that happening as I look for Philadelphia to pick up the win.

Detroit Pistons @ Toronto Raptors – 4PM ET

The Detroit Pistons are off to an awful start throughout the early part of the regular season, and they will be looking for a huge momentum boosting victory here on Sunday afternoon north of the border in Toronto. Detroit looks to be far away from becoming a contender once again, as it seems like their rebuilding process will continue well into next season as they search for answers throughout the remainder of this regular season. Detroit is winless through their last ten games on the season and they find themselves in the basement of the Eastern Conference standings as this current ten game losing streak has put them well out of contention early on in the year. They will be looking to snap their losing streak here on Sunday afternoon on the road north of the border against the Toronto Raptors but with the way they’ve been playing lately this game will likely not go how they would want to go. 

The Toronto Raptors aren’t having the best start of the season either, but they have a chance to get a momentum boosting victory here on Sunday afternoon against the Detroit Pistons. For the last several years, Toronto was one of the top teams in the conference, but over the last couple of seasons has not been the case, and they will be looking to get back to contender status throughout this year. They will be looking to snap a two game losing streak with a victory here on Sunday afternoon at home against Detroit as they look to get the momentum rolling in the right direction throughout the early part of the regular season as well. Toronto comes into this game under .500 through their first 12 games of the season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the year here on Sunday afternoon at home. That is exactly what I expect as I look for them to pick up the win in this game on Sunday afternoon against the Detroit Pistons.

Orlando Magic @ Indiana Pacers – 5PM ET

It has been a quality start to the season for this young Orlando Magic team, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Sunday afternoon on the road against the Indiana Pacers. Orlando comes into the game above .500 through their first 12 games of the season and they will be looking to keep pace with the top teams in the Eastern Conference by grabbing a solid victory on the road in this game on Sunday against a tough Indiana team. Orlando is coming off a pair of back-to-back victories on the road against the Chicago Bulls, and they will be looking to remain in the Midwest and continue picking up wins throughout the remainder of the weekend with another victory over the Indiana Pacers here on Sunday. They have picked up victories in three out of their last four games, and they will be looking to make it four out of five with another quality performance here in Indiana Pacers. 

The Indiana Pacers are off to a quality start this season themselves, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Sunday afternoon at home against the Orlando Magic. Indiana comes into this game above the 500 mark through their first eleven games of the regular season. They will be looking for their eighth victory of the season here on Sunday afternoon against a young and hungry Orlando Magic. Indiana has the potential to be a playoff team this season as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the regular season and with the way Tyrese Halliburton has been playing lately he is arguably the best point guard in the league. He will be looking to lead them to another victory with another quality performance here on Sunday afternoon at home over the Orlando Magic. I look for this to be a solid competitive game throughout the entirety of the contest, but in the end, I do look for the Pacers to grab the win at home.

Denver Nuggets @ Cleveland Cavaliers – 6PM ET

The defending NBA champions are off to a fantastic start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling with another quality performance here on Sunday night against Cleveland. They haven’t been experiencing any type of championship hangover throughout the early part of the regular season and they will be looking too further. Add to their solid start with a solid victory on the road against a playoff team in the Eastern Conference. Denver comes into this game well above .500 through their first 12 games of the regular season and they will be looking to break the double digit win barrier with another victory here on Sunday night in Cleveland. They will be looking to finish this road trip off on a positive note after losing two out of their last three on the road and a victory. Here in Cleveland would help them do exactly that.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are having a slow start to the season after into the year with high expectations following their disastrous playoff exit last year. They will be looking for a huge momentum boosting victory here on Sunday night at home against the defending NBA champions, as they look to get the momentum rolling in the right direction throughout the month of November. They come into this game sitting dead even through their first 12 games of the season, and they will be looking to grab their seventh victory of the season here on Sunday night in front of their home fans. However, their superstar Donovan Mitchell is listed as a gametime decision, and without him this Cleveland team does not stand much of a chance against the team like Denver and Nikola Jokić. That is why I look for the Denver Nuggets to pick up the victory here on Sunday night on the road in Cleveland to get out of their little funk they are experiencing right now and get things back on track. 

Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Lakers – 9:30PM ET

The Houston Rockets are off to a successful start this season, and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Sunday night on the road in Los Angeles. The Houston Rockets have been one of the worst teams in the league over the last couple of seasons so this hot start to the year has been a bit surprising, but they have been getting the job done with a mix of seasoned veterans and young rookies in the lineup. They will be looking for a huge momentum boosting victory here on Sunday night on the road against one of the top teams in the western conference as they look to continue the solid start to the regular season and continue to find their footing as well. They come into this game with six victories through their first ten games of the year and they will be looking for their seventh one of the season here on Sunday night.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to get a solid victory here on Sunday night at home to wrap up the weekend on a positive note. They are expected to be one of the top teams in the Western Conference this season, but they have struggled throughout the early part of the year as Anthony Davis has missed some time with several injuries. They come into this game just hovering above .500 through their first thirteen games of the regular season and they will be looking for their eighth victory of the season here on Sunday. They will be facing off against a young and hungry Houston Rockets team, and they will be needing to get the job done to get the momentum rolling in the right direction here in this one. The Los Angeles Lakers have been building up some momentum, as they have picked up four victories in their last five games on the year, and they will be looking to make it five out of six with another victory here on Sunday night at home. That is exactly what I expect as I look for the Lakers to grab the win over the Rockets here in this one.
