San Antonio Spurs @ New York Knicks – 1PM ET

*This game has been postponed due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, a new date has not been confirmed at this time*

Golden State Warriors @ Charlotte Hornets – 8PM ET

The Golden State Warriors are playing the second of back-to-back games after narrowly losing to the Orlando Magic on Friday. That loss prevented Steve Kerr’s team from getting the third straight victory and fifth in the last six games.

Still, the Warriors are looking fine so far in the season with a 16-14 record and 8th position in the Western Conference. Stephen Curry led them in a 124-120 defeat with a double-double of 29 points and game-high 11 assists, along with team-high seven rebounds.

Kelly Oubre Jr. added 26 points, seven boards, and game-high four steals, while Andrew Wiggins had 16 points, four rebounds, and two thefts.

The Charlotte Hornets will play their first game since February 14th and a 122-110 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. Just like the Warriors, the Hornets are in the 8th place in the Eastern Conference, but with a 13-15 record.

Terry Rozier led Charlotte in a loss to San Antonio with 33 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Malik Monk contributed with 23 points and four boards.

LaMelo Ball nearly recorded a triple-double of 17 points, game-high 12 rebounds, and team-high eight dimes, along with team-high three thefts. Bismack Biyombo had 11 points and two blocks, while Cody Zeller posted a double-double of ten points and 12 boards.

Charlotte had much more time to prepare for this clash, while Golden State will surely be a bit tired after last night’s duel with Orlando. We’re backing the Hornets to get the edge here.

NBA Pick – Charlotte Hornets (+110)
NBA Spread – Charlotte Hornets +2 (-110)
Total Points Pick – Under 232.5 (-110)

Indiana Pacers @ Houston Rockets – 8PM ET

*This game has been postponed due to COVID-19 health and safety protocols, a new date has not been confirmed at this time*

Miami Heat @ Los Angeles Lakers – 8:30PM ET

The Miami Heat will play their fifth consecutive game on the road trip in the West. After suffering three defeats in a row, Miami managed to snap that negative run with a 118-110 win over the Sacramento Kings.

The last year’s finalists are still underperforming this season as they have a 12-17 record and are in 11th place in the Eastern Conference. Tyler Herro led the Heat in a win with 27 points and four rebounds.

Kelly Olynyk had 22 points and seven boards, while Jimmy Butler also posted a triple-double of 13 points, game-high 13 dishes, and ten boards. It was Butler’s third consecutive triple-double!

The Los Angeles Lakers suffered a second defeat in three games as they failed to get to triple digits for the third time this season in a 109-98 home loss to the Brooklyn Nets.

The Lakers had no chance against the Nets, who hit 18 triples opposite Los Angeles’ eight. LeBron James led his team with 32 points, eight rebounds, and team-high seven assists.

It’s going to be a close one, but we’re going with the Heat because of the red-hot Jimmy Butler, who is unstoppable at the moment. It will be a great matchup with LeBron.

NBA Pick – Miami Heat (+129)
NBA Spread – Miami Heat +3.5 (-110)
Total Points Pick – Under 212.5 (-110)

Sacramento Kings @ Chicago Bulls – 9PM ET

After a good form and four consecutive wins, the Sacramento Kings lost the last five games, all five at home. The most recent defeat came to the Miami Heat as they couldn’t handle Bam Adebayo and Jimmy Butler, who both recorded triple-doubles.

Nemanja Bjelica led the Kings in a 118-110 loss with 25 points, eight rebounds, and two steals. Marvin Bagley posted a double-double of 19 points and team-high ten boards.

The Chicago Bulls have the same record after 28 games this season (12-16). Following victories over the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons, the Bulls lost to the Philadelphia 76ers, 112-105.

Zach LaVine led Chicago with 30 points, five rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Wendell Carter had 15 points and four boards, Thaddeus Young chipped in with 12 points and team-high nine rebounds.

Both teams are struggling with injuries right now, and given how they are playing so far in the season, it’s hard to predict a winner. We’re giving a slight advantage to the Bulls, though.

NBA Pick – Chicago Bulls (+121)
NBA Spread – Chicago Bulls +2.5 (-110)
Total Points Pick – Over 237.5 (-110)

Phoenix Suns @ Memphis Grizzlies – 9PM ET

The Phoenix Suns are one of the hottest teams in the NBA at the moment as they recorded ten wins in the last 12 games. They had a big 132-114 victory last night over the Pelicans thanks to an excellent field goal percentage (58.0%) and 22 triples on 39 attempts (56.4%).

Devin Booker led the Suns with 23 points and four rebounds. Deandre Ayton posted a double-double of 16 points and game-high 16 boards, while Chris Paul recorded a double-double of 15 points and game-high 19 dimes.

The Memphis Grizzlies secured a 109-95 win over the Detroit Pistons despite a poor percentage from beyond the arc (25.0%). The Grizzlies forced 21 turnovers and committed 13 on the other end, while they had an 18-point lead after the opening quarter, which set the tone of the game.

Ja Morant led his team with 29 points and four assists. Jonas Valanciunas posted a double-double of 17 points and game-high 15 rebounds.

Another close duel that could go either way and which is extremely hard to predict. Still, we must make a pick, and on this occasion, we go with the Grizzlies.

NBA Pick – Memphis Grizzlies (+129)
NBA Spread – Memphis Grizzlies +3 (-110)
Total Points Pick – Under 224.5 (-110)

Washington Wizards @ Portland Trail Blazers – 10PM ET

The Washington Wizards secured three consecutive wins for the first time of the season and moved out from the bottom of the Eastern Conference. They currently stand at a 9-17 record, and two of those three wins were pleasant surprises as the Wizards beat the Celtics and Nuggets.

Davis Bertans led Washington in a 130-128 win over Denver with a career-high 35 points. Bradley Beal recorded a double-double of 25 points and ten assists, along with four rebounds, while Russell Westbrook posted a triple-double of 12 points, 13 boards, and 12 dishes.

The Portland Trail Blazers are playing their best basketball of the season, even though they are without CJ McCollum and Jusuf Nurkic for quite some time.

The Blazers won six consecutive games, including the most recent one over the New Orleans Pelicans. Damian Lillard led the Blazers in a 126-124 victory with a double-double of 43 points and season-high 16 assists, along with four rebounds.

The Wizards are on the rise, but Portland found its rhythm and we don’t think they will drop a win on Saturday.

NBA Pick – Portland Trail Blazers (-167)
NBA Spread – Portland Trail Blazers -3.5 (-110)
Total Points Pick – Over 242 (-110)
