Brooklyn Nets @ Charlotte Hornets – 7PM ET

It hasn’t been an ideal start to the season for the Brooklyn Nets as they have yet to pick up their first victory of the year through their first two games of the season. That is something they will be looking to change here in Charlotte on Monday night as they look to get the victory over the Hornets to clinch their first victory of the year and finally break through into the win column. This is a Brooklyn Nets team that looked entirely different before last season started as they had a trio of superstars on their roster and now all three of those guys are no longer with the team and Brooklyn is in the middle of a weird phase, where they are somewhat rebuilding, but also still have the potential to be competitive this season. They will have to start stringing some victories together, if they want to show their competitive side throughout the year.

The Charlotte Hornets will be looking to further add to the misery of the Brooklyn Nets with a victory here on Monday night on their home floor. It hasn’t been an ideal start to the season for Charlotte either, and they will be looking to get the momentum rolling here in this one with a much-needed victory over Brooklyn on Monday evening. Charlotte has split their first two games of the season, and they will be looking for their second victory of the year here in this game, as they look to get themselves into a position to be competitive this season after several years of being one of the weakest teams in the entire league. I expect Charlotte to come out on Monday night and grab a victory over Brooklyn on their home floor to pick up their second victory of the season and get the momentum rolling for them.

Chicago Bulls @ Indiana Pacers – 7PM ET

The Chicago Bulls will be looking for a quality early season victory against their divisional arrivals, the Indiana Pacers here on Monday night in Indiana. Chicago is a team that is built to be a contender in the Eastern Conference, but they will have to remain healthy and consistent throughout the year if they want to make that happen as the Eastern Conference is absolutely loaded this season. Chicago has lost two out of their first three games on the season and they will be looking to get things turned around with a victory here in this one on the road against the Indiana Pacers. This is a team that has plenty of potential this season as long as they can find a stride and string some victories together throughout the year.

This Indiana Pacers team is led by Tyrese Haliburton, and he will be looking to lead them to a much-needed victory here at home on Monday night against the Chicago Bulls. It has been a fantastic start to the season for the Indiana Pacers as they have picked up consecutive victories in their opening two games of the year and they will be looking to do it for a third consecutive game here on Monday night at home against Chicago. They are coming off of a solid 12 point win against the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road in Cleveland and their last game and they will be looking to grab a second consecutive divisional victory against Chicago here in this one. That is exactly what I expect, as I look for the Pacers to remain undefeated and grab the win here in this game on Monday night.

Boston Celtics @ Washington Wizards – 7PM ET

The Boston Celtics are a team that is built for success, but the problem is they have not been able to reach their ultimate goal of winning an NBA championship over the last several seasons. They are once again on a mission to compete for and win an NBA championship this season, and they are off to a solid start this season as they have picked up two consecutive victories to open up the year. They will be looking to get their third consecutive victory of the season here in this one against the Washington Wizards on Monday night on the road in the nation’s capital. Boston is coming off of a solid victory over the Miami Heat in their last game, and they will be looking to capitalize off of momentum from that.

The Washington Wizards will be looking to hand the Boston Celtics their first loss of the season here on Monday night at home. Washington has split their first two games of the season and they will be looking for their second victory of the year here on Monday night as they look to take down one of the top teams in the Eastern Conference this season. Washington comes into this game on a one game-winning streak after picking up a victory over Memphis and their previous contest, and they will be looking to grab a second consecutive victory here in this one. Unfortunately, unfortunately for Washington, I don’t see that happening as I look for the Boston Celtics to grab the victory here on Monday night on the road.

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Atlanta Hawks – 7:30PM ET

Minnesota will be looking for a solid victory here on Monday night on the road in Atlanta as they look to get the momentum rolling early on in the season. Minnesota is a quality team that is built to win games that they just have to find some consistency and string some victories together throughout the early part of the year to get on a roll as the season progresses. They have split their opening two games of the season and they will be looking to pick up their second victory of the year here on Monday night on the road in Atlanta. They are coming off of a solid victory at home against the Miami Heat and they will be looking to parlay that momentum into a second consecutive victory here against the Atlanta Hawks. 

The Atlanta Hawks are having a very rough start to the season as they have yet to pick up a victory through their first two games of the year. They will be looking to change that with a much-needed victory here on Monday night at home against Minnesota as they looked to break into the win column and get the momentum rolling on the season. Atlanta has been competitive throughout their first two games of the season, but they have not been able to get over the top and grab their first victory of the year yet. It’ll be up to Trae Young, putting up quality numbers in this game if Atlanta wants to grab victory number one on the year. Unfortunately for them I don’t see that happening in this one either as I have Minnesota claiming the win on the road on Monday night.

Orlando Magic @ Los Angeles Lakers – 10:30PM ET

The Orlando Magic will be looking for a solid victory on the road in Los Angeles here on Monday night as they look to grab a statement win over one of the top teams in the league. They are off to a solid start this season as they have picked up a pair of victories in their first two games of the year, and they will be looking to make it three consecutive victories with another win here on Monday night on the road. They will have to find a way to lock down LeBron James and Anthony Davis if they want to grab a victory over the Los Angeles Lakers here on Monday night and their group of guys will have to place some of their best basketball of their careers so far if they want to get the job done here in this one. 

The Los Angeles Lakers will be looking to grab a victory here at home after they opened up their tough stretch of the schedule with some brutal opponents. That’s not to say that Orlando won’t give them a solid game, but Orlando is nowhere near the level of teams like Phoenix and Denver at the moment. LeBron and Anthony Davis will be looking to put up quality performances in this one as the Lakers look to grab their second victory of the season at home on Monday night. The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off of their victory against the Phoenix Suns and their previous game and they will be looking to use the momentum from that game and get another win here in this one. Is exactly what I expect as I have the Lakers picking up the victory in this one.
