Sacramento Kings @ San Antonio Spurs – 7:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Sacramento Kings came into this season with plenty of expectations, but much like many other top teams in the league they are struggling throughout the early part of the year. They will be looking to get things turned around with a victory here on Friday night on the road and San Antonio during this NBA tournament matchup. They do come into this game with a winning record through their first ten games of the season but they are hovering around the .500 mark with six victories and four losses. They will be looking for their seventh victory of the season against a struggling San Antonio team here on Friday night as they look to start stringing, some wins together and get the momentum rolling in the right direction throughout November. They’ve been building up momentum as of late as they’ve come into this game on a four game-winning streak, and they will be looking for a fifth consecutive victory here on Friday night on the road.

The San Antonio Spurs are off to a rough start this season, but many people would have predicted that. They are one of the youngest teams in the league and they still have a long way to go in their rebuilding process. However, they will be looking for a quality momentum boosting victory early on in the year here on Friday night at home against Sacramento. They come into this game as losers of eight out of their first eleven games on the season and they will be looking for a much-needed fourth victory here on Friday night at home against one of the top teams in the Western Conference. They come into this game as losers of seven out of their last ten and of six consecutive games as well. They will be looking to bounce back in this one, but it would take a pretty clean performance from San Antonio to do so. Unfortunately I don’t see that happening as I look for the Sacramento Kings to grab the wind here on the road on Friday night in this tournament matchup.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Sacramento Kings -6.5 (-105)

Orlando Magic @ Chicago Bulls – 8PM ET

Tony Battalio

Orlando comes into this game looking to get a solid victory over the Chicago Bulls as they will be facing them for the second consecutive time this week. These two teams met the other day in regular season action, and they will meet again here in this one in tournament action and Orlando will be looking to pick up a much-needed victory here on Friday night in the Windy City. They are off to a pretty respectable start this season given. They are one of the younger teams in the league as they have picked up six victories through their first eleven games of the year. They will be looking to grab their seventh victory of the season here on Friday night on the road in Chicago in this tournament game as they look to get their second consecutive victory over the Chicago Bulls, after beating them by two points in their previous contest. Orlando will also be looking to extend their one game winning streak and grab their second consecutive road victory with another win here in this one on Friday night.

The Chicago Bulls will be looking to bounce back after losing to the Orlando Magic at home and their previous game and they will be looking to record a tournament victory in the process here on Friday night. Given all the talent on the Chicago Bulls roster, you would expect them to be off to a much better start this season, but they have struggled throughout the early part of the year. They will be looking to get things going in the right direction with the quality performance here on Friday night at home as they look to avenge their last Orlando and pick up a much-needed victory on their home floor. Chicago comes into this game with a record of 4-8 through their first 12 games of the regular season and they will be desperately looking to grab their fifth victory of the season here on Friday night at home. Chicago comes into this game on a two game losing streak, and they have lost three out of their last four games as well. I don’t think things will get much better for them in this one as I look for Orlando to pick up a second consecutive victory.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Orlando Magic (-105)

Denver Nuggets @ New Orleans Pelicans – 8PM ET

Tony Battalio

The defending NBA champions aren’t experiencing a championship hangover and they will be looking to keep the momentum rolling here on Friday night in New Orleans as they look to continue their hot start to the regular season. Denver comes into this game looking to break the double digit win barrier with a quality performance here on Friday night on the road against New Orleans as they have come into this one with only two losses through their first eleven games of the season. They come into this game on a one game-winning streak and as winners of eight out of their first ten on the season and they have eight victories against the Western Conference this season as well. Denver should be the favorite to win their second consecutive NBA championship as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the regular season. They will be looking for a second consecutive victory here on Friday night on the road in New Orleans.

The New Orleans Pelicans have plenty of potential this season as long as they remain healthy and consistent throughout the regular season as well. That is something that has not happened throughout the early part of the year as CJ McCollum, and Brandon Ingram have both missed time throughout the young season. However, once this New Orleans team gets fully healthy, they could be a force to be reckoned with within the Western Conference. Due to the fact that injuries have been piling up and hampering their early season performance, they are off to a relatively slow start to the season, and they will be looking to get things turned around with a victory here on Friday night at home against Denver. They come into this game hovering around the .500 mark through their first eleven games of the season and they will be looking to pick up their sixth victory of the year here on Friday night at home against Denver. However, I don’t see that happening as I look for the Denver Nuggets to come on the road and pick up the victory here on Friday night.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Denver Nuggets (-175)

Phoenix Suns @ Utah Jazz – 10PM ET

Tony Battalio

The Phoenix Suns come into this game with plenty of potential this season, but injuries and other players missing games here and there throughout the early part of the year has put them behind schedule. They will be looking to get things going in the right direction and it starts with picking up a quality victory here on the road in Utah on Friday night in this tournament game action. Phoenix is arguably the best team in the Western Conference this season when they are fully healthy and at their full potential with their big three of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal. Phoenix comes into this game, hovering around .500 with five victories in their first eleven games of the season and they will be looking for their sixth victory of the season here on Friday night in Salt Lake City as they look to get things back on track. They recently snapped a one game losing streak and their previous game and they will be looking to get their second consecutive victory here on Friday night against Utah in their second game against the Jazz this season.

Utah was another team that came into this season with high expectations of being successful, and making a deep playoff run. However, they are off way less than impressive start to the year, and they will be looking to get things turned around with a quality early season victory against the Phoenix Suns here on Friday night. This will be their second game against the Phoenix Suns this season, and they were blown out by Phoenix and their previous meeting so Utah will also be looking for revenge for that loss from a couple weeks ago. Utah comes into this game on Friday night as losers of seven out of their first 11 games on the season and they will be looking to grab a much-needed fifth fifth victory here in this one against the Phoenix Suns. They do have a little bit of momentum coming into this one as they are currently on a two game-winning streak, but I expect that to end as I have Phoenix grabbing the victory on the road here on Friday night.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Phoenix Suns -4.5 (-115)

Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Clippers – 10:30PM ET

Tony Battalio

It has been a solid start to the season for the Houston Rockets as they come into this year as one of the youngest teams in the league, and they will be looking to keep things on track here on Friday night on the road in Los Angeles. Houston will be looking for an upset victory to get the momentum rolling early on in the season here in Los Angeles against the Clippers on Friday night as they look to continue getting their young guys some confidence throughout the early part of the regular season. Houston comes into this game with six victories through their first nine games of the year and they will be looking for their seventh victory of the season here on Friday night in this tournament game against the Clippers. After starting the season with three consecutive losses, they have picked up six consecutive victories, and they now find themselves in the upper half of the Western Conference standings throughout the early part of the year. They will be looking to further increase their win streak with a seventh consecutive victory here on Friday night in Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Clippers are one of those teams that came into this season with very high expectations, but they are off to a slow start to the season. The Los Angeles Clippers will be happy to be at home in this game as they have lost their first six games of the season, but they have won three out of four games in their own arena. They will be looking for their fourth victory at home this season and their fourth victory overall on the year as they look to get back towards .500 throughout the month of November. The Clippers currently find themselves on a six game losing streak, and they will be looking to bounce out of the current funk they are in with a victory here at home on Friday night against the Houston Rockets. Unfortunately, for Los Angeles I don’t see that happening as I look for the Houston Rockets to grab their seventh consecutive victory of the year and further add to the misery of the Los Angeles Clippers throughout the early part of the regular season.

SportsTips’ NBA Pick:

Houston Rockets (+180)
