After winning each of the three previous season meetings against Detroit, the most recent of which was a 140-110 victory at Little Caesars Arena in November 2022, their 11th straight head-to-head victory, New York will be pursuing a season sweep.
Julius Randle led the Knicks with 36 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. Isaiah Stewart had 19 points in the loss.Randle and Brunson, averaging 24.1 and 22.2 points per game, respectively, are leading the Knicks in scoring this season. Randle also has grabbed 10.4 rebounds per game, eighth-most in the league, while Brunson has dished 6.5 assists per game.
