The teams are meeting for the last time this season. Oklahoma City will be aiming for a season sweep against Dallas after triumphing in the only prior meeting 117-111 in overtime at American Airlines Center on October 29. Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 38 points, nine assists, and six rebounds.
Luka Doncic had a triple double with 31 points, 16 rebounds, and 10 assists in the losing effort. Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 30.8 points per game, best in the NBA, to lead the Thunder in scoring this season. Gilgeous-Alexander also has dished 5.9 assists per game, most in the league.
Meanwhile, Josh Giddey is grabbing 7.9 rebounds. Doncic has powered the Mavs’ offense, averaging 32.9 points per game. He is the top scorer in the league. Doncic has also stuffed the stat sheet with 8.5 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game, for which he ranks first and first in the league, respectively.
